  1. This is why I didn't want the Leafs to win... their fans and media are going to be unbearable.
  2. He's hurt and won't be ready for the start of the season. He tore his ACL in November and that's why Hamilton is letting him go.
  3. Danny could legitmize Jon (eventually) as well. If his parentage is both Stark/Targaryen, he would be the unifying link between the two families. Danny might legitimize him as a Stark in exchange for not chasing his claim to the Iron Throne (which I don't think he'd want anyway, much like Ned didn't). I can't ever see a Stark/Lannister alliance, not after everything that's happened to the Starks. I think best case scenario for the Lannisters is that they don't get completely wiped out. Tyrion has mended fences with both the Targaryens & Starks (Jamie has helped with the Starks as well) but there's still a lot of bad blood.
  4. Ramsay was legitimized by Tommen.
  5. Sansa & Brienne are headed for the Wall so I'd say that it's a safe bet they have Jon & the wildlings with them when they go to Winterfell. They should also have most of the other northern houses with them. They mentioned House Umber & House Mandlerley as having some of the biggest forces in the north both of whom are loyal to the Starks. I found it interesting that they finally mentioned the Manderleys last night. Lord Manderley plays a big part in the books (at least the latest happenings in the North) but hasn't been in the show yet.
  6. A bastard can be legitimized by royal decree (like how Ramsay went from Ramsay Snow to Ramsay Bolton). If Jon were legitimized he would be heir to Winterfell as he is older than Sansa (and I believe the sons always go before the daughters).
  7. They've already started slowly bringing things together and you'll see it more over the course of this season because there are only 2 more after this one.
  8. 1st Bison ever to get drafted in the NFL. Quite the accomplishment for a guy who had never played a down before university.
  9. Maybe you should stay away from the mem cup then (and McMahon when the bombers play)! I'm starting to see a pattern here.
  10. Nope and nobody was really expected to go until tomorrow. Onyemata had a very slim chance of going in the 3rd round but it didn't happen.
  11. Nolan Patrick is showing why he's projected to go #1 next year. 5 point night in the biggest game of his career so far. He's scored or set-up (3 goals, two assists) all of the Wheat King goals, to punch their ticket to the finals.
  12. The Undertaker was definitely not one of worst gimmicks of all time (even back then). You can watch it on youtube and it's very similar to what you saw for most of his career. Fun fact, if you watch his debut from Survivor Series 1990, you'll also see the on-screen debut of Shane McMahon (he's the ref on the outside of the ring).
  13. The Wheat Kings are now one win away from the WHL finals if you're looking for something worth watching. Shaw is carrying all of the games, not sure if any other providers are though.
  14. Surprisingly it's only a misdemeanor (with a max of 1 year in jail & a 4k fine) so I doubt he'll even see a jail cell, with or without a team of lawyers. When he does turn himself in, his bond was only set at $1500 so I wonder how serious he's even taking this.
  15. I just picture him walking away from the bar like this:
  16. Media must be too busy now that they have some access to the assistant coaches.
  17. I've got two close friends as teachers and neither of them would describe their job as easy (one is actually stressed out to the point she's seriously considering a career change). Both of them work in "rougher" schools in the city though not rural ones so there could be vast differences in what the job entails. There's also a flipside to have those specific vacation "perks". It means you have no flexibility to when you take your vacation. Both my friends have missed out on a lot of important events (like destination weddings) because they were happening on non-break times.
  18. This works both ways. There are Cons from Alberta (and Saskatchewan) making their way over here to work for Pallister as 1/3 of his new transition team if from out of province.
  19. I know it's just mini-camp but I really hope this isn't a replay of last season.
