Why wouldn't there be? If they are trying to go more like the NFL (even if not exactly the same), they'd be going smaller not bigger. It might actually be a better fit in some of those stadiums - smaller would mean Montreal no longer has to have end zones with the corners cut off.

I can't see them doing major changes in-season (the CFLPA would have to sign off on that) but giving people lots of time to digest how the new CFL game looks (like changing field dimensions) isn't a bad thing. No matter what they do, people are going to complain so why not get it out of the way now and say "hey in 2026, this is what the CFL is going to look like". It's odd timing to do an announcement regardless of when they plan to implement the changes but CFL is going to CFL.

Bet it's not. A new revenue deal would be great but wouldn't constitute "significant changes" (plural) as indicated in the press release. Struggling OL, QB, OC and the receivers could also do a better job helping out. Our entire offense (with very few exceptions like BO) is a mess.

Lapo also said Strevy needed to grow a pair and stay in the pocket longer (needs to hold his water a bit longer was the phrase he used) to go through his reads or let the play develop instead of automatically tucking the ball and trying to run.

When his biggest advocate (BO) is throwing shade about not being put in a position to succeed and Hogan himself admitting he's made mistakes and is still learning, I don't think you can compare the flack he's getting with what past OC's have gotten. The heat he is getting is absolutely deserved where as the previous guys you could argue and make a legitimate defense for.

Yes, listed as practicing fully on Tuesday and Wednesday but went got extended on the 6 game on Thursday.

He was re-upped on the 6 game list about a week and a half ago so he's not eligible to practice anymore. Don't think it was ever mentioned here (or in the media) though.
