  1. Perkins was added to our neg list in August but he's been bouncing around other teams lists since at least 2020 so might be just lucky timing on our part but I won't complain. Looks like he has a great skill set for the CFL and he's still only 28.

  3. Apparently Dinwiddie wanted Murphy gone & the Argo's said no so he left. I can't imagine sticking with a known piece of s**t like that to the detriment of your franchise - luckily for MLSE, nobody in Toronto will notice. Family comes first as Mike O'Shea spurns Argonauts | Toronto Sun
  4. People who like to go south in the winter care. Besides - it's a sale price, to one specific location, not all sun destinations. We've got a trip booked in March and our flight prices are way higher than normal ($1400 to Cancun) - on the same dates I can fly round trip to Calgary for $213 so yeah it can be way cheaper to fly domestically.
  5. Except he didn't start for another few seasons. He went to BC in FA where he backed up Danny Barrett and then Kent Austin. Austin got traded after the 1993 season and McManus finally got the reigns in 94.
  6. 30 years of coaching, OC in the NFL (Arizona), OC in Toronto and Montreal (also co-head coach there). Plus he's made Arbuckle look halfway decent. Would not be worse but time would tell if would be great.
  7. If they are interviewing other people for the OC position, that means Hogan is gone (or at least demoted).
  8. Looks like Hogan is done! https://3downnation.com/2025/11/24/winnipeg-blue-bombers-granted-permission-to-interview-mike-miller-for-offensive-coordinator-position-report/
  9. I'm sure they let him walk thinking it'd be a slam dunk to get MOS to come back. Now they're throwing s**t at the wall to see what will stick.
  10. Not a pending FA. Argos extend receiver Damonte Coxie through 2026 - CFL.ca
  11. If Toronto wants an experienced HC, looks like it's Campbell's job for the taking since both Steinauer & Mace have declined to be interviewed for the position. Not sure why they would even bother asking Mace - can't see him leaving anytime soon. Hamilton Tiger-Cats president Orlondo Steinauer declines head coach interview with Toronto Argonauts - 3DownNation Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Corey Mace declines interview with Toronto Argonauts - 3DownNation
  12. Yup, we had both in 92 (as well as the son in law). 92 was Matty's first year with us & Danny's last. I remember the rumours about Garza but he was 3rd string & had been with the team longer so I'm not sure how true that is.
  13. Apparently he's one of the highest paid college QB's, making around $2 million a year. He reportedly turned down a $4 million/year offer to leave Vanderbilt but declined because they took a chance on him so he feels indebted to them.
  14. https://3downnation.com/2025/11/23/former-heisman-winner-andre-ware-believes-ticats-neg-list-qb-tommy-castellanos-bombers-neg-list-qb-diego-pavia-can-play-a-long-time-in-cfl/ Would like to see Pavia up here. Watched him on the Netflix series about the SEC and he just had a career game where he threw for 484 yards & 5 td's against Kentucky yesterday (most passing yards in a SEC game in almost 30 years). He's definitely getting some attention right now but at 5'10, how much of a real look does he get in the NFL?
  15. There were definitely some people not happy about bringing in Rider castoffs. Worked out well for us in the end but there was doubt about him.
  16. He was at the end of his career by the time he came here so yeah he been associated with the Riders for so long that I can see that. He also didn't have a big energetic personality that made you overlook that Rider stink. Guys like Willie and Yoshi made it hard to dislike them.
  17. Willie and Yoshi did not seem to have any issues here, being former Riders.
  18. One year deal so no need to release him.
  19. And in BC last year but let's not let facts get in the way of things. But he did take snaps as the short yardage QB.
  20. Logan was hurt early and then Vaval took his job & never gave it back- he may have added something if he ever got to see the field. Mitchell was a bust for sure though.
  21. Why wouldn't Dru count? He may be with Ottawa but Winnipeg absolutely groomed him - they just chose to stick with ZC. It's no different than how Arbuckle was touted as the next big Calgary QB for a couple seasons but he was behind a prime BLM so he was shipped off to (coincidentally) Ottawa. Calgary had Maier after that and they eventually felt confident enough to move on from BLM. Neither guy panned out as an elite starter but Calgary still spend a few seasons developing each of them.
  22. Alexander has 4 seasons under his belt now - he was definitely groomed to take over.
  23. Yep, Wilson, going into GC threw a grand total of 1 pass in his 18 games in the 2024 regular season. He had next to zero experience doing anything but handing the ball off or running a QB sneak. That's the MOS way though, with rookies.
  24. His exact words from his Nov 3rd media availability: Around the 2:45 mark of the video, he's asked about the fans wanting major changes.
