I was very saddened to here about Rickman. He was a fantastic actor. He was amazing as Snape. Having read the books, it was as if the character was written specifically for him. It was one of those performances that you can't imagine anyone else playing the part. It's funny people mention Die Hard. I'm in Costa Rica right now and on the flight here the other day it was one of the movie options. He came to mind as soon as I saw it and it's been a long time since I saw it last so I had to watch. Glad I did. RIP Mr Rickman.

Yep, once I got it and got over the star wars novelty (which I do still enjoy tbf), I looked into it to see if there was anything else about it I would enjoy. There should be but there's not. One review I read summed it up perfectly: "I've never fallen in & out of love with a game this fast before."

I got battlefront and can confirm that. I'm not a huge fan of online gaming or first person shooters so it definitely has limited appeal other than nerding out to the star wars aspect of things.

I would assume most, if not all , teams have interest in Carter. I'd be more excited if the story was that he had interest in coming here.

There were other people who thought Waggoner was a good prospect, not just the Bombers. Duane Ford thought so (he's actually responsible for Waggoner getting his NI status) and Wally liked him enough (as an import) to put him on their neg list. He had so little playing time last year that I wonder how anyone can actually say one way or another how good he'll end up being.

All-star selections are a joke at the best of times. John Scott is an All-Star Captain this year... that says it all right there.

The most noticeable thing for me would be how much the gameday experience has changed under Miller's watch. Even if some of it doesn't interest or affect me, I have still noticed the improvements. Once the on-field product starts to catch up, it will a make for a great atmosphere.

I was shocked that this wasn't the bronze medal game since the US & Sweden were on a roll while the Fins & Russians only looked slightly better than average. Not surprising, I know a lot of people who haven't gone yet but plan to once they're off work for the holidays. I've gone once already but I'm going again in a couple days with 8 other people who haven't. Between ticket sales and merchandise, this will be the best 4 billion Disney ever spent. Not that he needs the money but Lucas might kick himself for not asking for more!

Doug Brown was in the same position. He had no ties here either but he still came & played because he still wanted to. The desire to keep playing will be the determining factor with Bilukidi, imo, not how prepared he is for life as a retired athlete.

Mulumba's contract with GB is up at the end of the year, he wants to stay but based on his playing time this season, I'm not sure GB feels the same. He'll still get looks down there at least for the next season. Bilukidi is probably at the end of his time in the NFL. When he got cut by the Ravens, someone mentioned on twitter (I think it was Bauming) that his agent said they were committed to finding work in the NFL this season... no mention was made about next year. He's had at least 2-3 tryouts since then and nobody has signed him.

Bad Santa is the only thing I watch every year around Christmas (besides the World Juniors). Vacation & A Christmas Story are regulars too, just maybe not every year.

I agree that Kylo didn't come off as strong as maybe he should have but he was injured and maybe Rey was in his head a little bit. He looked a bit rattled when he couldn't use mind control on her & when he told Snoke how strong the force was with her.
