  1. The problem with O'shea is that he's such an Argo/Ti-Cat and in my bitterness I say leave all that trash in Southern Ontario.

Lawless is now saying we'll be asking for permission to talk to Jeremy O'Day.  Even though they're looking at them for different jobs (O'day for GM), I'd rather have Argo/Ti-Cat trash than Rider trash!

  2. I have no idea.  But what made a glorified salesman at a radio station qualified to run a professional football club, especially with a brand new facility to manage also?

Some people have the skillset above and beyond their current job. I have no problem with rewarding skill and intelligence but many of us predicted he would crap out.

Do you know anything about his background other than he worked in radio?  I know you used to bounce at the Lid for years but I'm not going to say that doesn't qualify you for anything else since I have no clue what other work history or education you have going for you.

  3. Having read the books, I was excited for the Red Wedding episode and it did not disappoint.  I was telling anyone who watches the show, not to miss this episode.

The Storm of Swords (the current season is basically the 1st half of that book) was my favorite of the 5 books that have come out so far.  There's still so much that happens in that book but we'll have to wait for next year!

  4. Now that most of the folk who have their tickets have had the opportunity to sit in their seats, what do you think? What's your section and row? How is the sightline?

I'll start off by saying that we are in section 206, row 11. Excellent views and sightlines. Quite a difference from sitting in the lower rows of section S for 6 years.

I'm also in 206 (a few rows north of you though) & have been low in Section T for the past couple years so I know what you mean! It was nice finally getting to check out the view in person yesterday.

  5. tried adding someone to my foes list... but it didn't work since he hasn't actually signed up yet.

a foes list works like an ignore function, right? (pretty please)

what's the point of having foes? If you block all the morons who can you possibly argue with?

because i can already sum up each of his "arguments" he'll ever have on this or any forum ever:

"Bombers are teh best! Everything they do are teh best! Any criticism ams douchey trolling!"

so you see, i don't need to have it take up my bandwidth.

LOL This! I added to my foe list to avoid reading exactly this kind of thing as soon as I registered.
