The guys behind the last big celeb hacks got 18 & 9 months in prison respectively. Would your opinion change if the pics/videos weren't on their phone, but safely kept in their house and someone stole them? At what point do they become victims to you when they themselves did nothing wrong?

The fact that their sport doesn't pay well enough to live off of doesn't mean they are amateur though. CFL players have been known take on jobs in the off-season to get by. Most UFC fighters need regular jobs to survive. Minor league baseball players? Yep side jobs for them too. All professionals, just ones that need another source of income to keep letting them get paid to do what they love.

On RF, they were kind split on him... some liked him and hoped he'd be brought back (at the right price) and others were kind of meh. The general opinion was he did ok, even though he was playing out of position a lot due to their lack of depth. No all-star, but serviceable and they would have liked to have seen how he did with some actual talent beside him.

Problem is that they didn't report that at all. They only reported that Trump people were recorded but on who's phone? If it was a Russian line being tapped and they happened to get recordings of Trump people, that's a far cry from Trump himself being the subject of wire-tapping.
