  1. I'll check it out when I get home tonight but it's been working for me. I've been watching the nhl playoffs (albeit on nbc sports) and haven't had any problems.
  2. I've used Kodi a lot over the last 6 months but haven't had a chance to try it on a bomber game yet. For TSN streams (when they are up) I use either the Phoenix or Vdubt25 add-ons.
  3. Mad Max looks amazing.... they did reshoots because the studio thought the movie was looking so good that they pumped in tens of millions of more dollars to make it even more awesome! I went to Mad Max last night and it was great, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10 (mainly for the visuals). It sure isn't the low budget indy film that the original was and they put every dime to pretty good use. I'd recommend seeing it in theatres rather than waiting to watch at home. I thought it was interesting that the same actor was the main villain in this one (as Immortan Joe) & the original ( as Toecutter). He's completely unrecognizable in this one though so if you didn't know beforehand, you probably would never imagine it was the same guy.
  4. GGG whooped Munroe pretty easily tonight. He wants Canello next (which would be a fun fight to watch). If Mayweather is serious about only having one fight left in him, I can't see him fighting someone as dangerous as GGG.
  5. Look a few posts up (post #11 to be exact).
  6. If all Sask-born players long to go back home, maybe you should let Rory Kohlert know he re-signed with the wrong team then.
  7. I'm satisfied for now, time will tell in the end though as it does with all drafts. Like most, I was disappointed in the lack of name recognition in some of the picks but after reading more, I'm a little more optimistic. Duane Forde says Morgan is a smart player & one of the best athletes available in the draft. His lack of name recognition may be due to the fact that he only played 2 games last year after being ruled academically ineligible. His old DC from Queens (Pat Tracey) is now our ST coach so there is some familiarity there & he seems pretty versatile (he also played RB at Queens for a bit).
  8. It was very easy to tell during the fight who actually follows boxing (and had seen Mayweather fight before) and who hadn't. Floyd didn't do anything in that fight that he hadn't done many times before.
  9. The lawsuits will go nowhere. They'll make lawyers richer and that's about it. There's a good blog from a lawyer in BC about combat sports law you can read about it. http://combatsportslaw.com/2015/05/05/proving-fraud-in-nevada-following-mayweather-pacquiao-record-ppv-bout/ In short, based on his legal opinion, they will have a tough time winning based on the fact the plaintiffs will have to prove that they would have changed their plans if they had known about the injury (how do you prove something that didn't happen?) and that there is no law that states the fighters have to make their injuries known to anyone other than the commission. I don't know the Nevada medical privacy laws but the NSAC may not have been able to release that info with out Pacquiao's consent, even if they were aware of it. That being said, the lawsuits referenced in the article are in Nevada, every state has different laws so maybe they've got better luck elsewhere.
  10. He hadn't signed a contract at the time of the CFL draft though. Drafted May 6th and signed with green bay on May 10th.
  11. How exactly do you put dicks in a bag? Do you have to cut them off first? Replace the box with a bag & there you go.
  12. They are a pretty deep team, Ryan Pilon is another guy who should go in the 1st few rounds this year. They (Povorov & Pilon) are ranked 2nd & 8th ranked for North American defensemen by NHL Central Scouting. They've got a few guys already drafted besides their young guns too. John Quennevelle (New Jersey), Peter Quennevelle (Columbus), Morgan Klimchuk (Calgary), Reid Duke (Minnesota) & Jace Hawryluk (Florida) all got picked up.
  13. Ivan Povorov will be a 1st round pick this year. Nolan Patrick is being touted as a very high pick (top 5) next year.
  14. I think it would have been more one-sided if they had fought 5-6 years ago. Pacquiao's team was banking on Mayweather being too old to keep moving like that for 12 rounds last night, I'm not sure what they're strategy would have been back then.
  15. Covington went to Houston.
  16. I'm pretty sure it did go down before but popped back up.
  17. The Bombers are making a "significant" football announcement at 11am. Lawless & Penton are thinking it's an extension for Willy.
  18. Rampage's situation was much worse. He ended being charged with 2 felonies & 4 misdemeanors after hitting a few cars & taking police on a chase against traffic. He plead down to 1 felony & 1 misdemeanor & got community service (to give you an idea what Jones is facing). One of the people he hit was a pregnant woman who ended up suing him (she dismissed the case less than a year later so they may have settled out of court). The medical evidence showed that her miscarriage was not related to the accident though.
  19. The public loves a comeback but usually with a guy they want to root for... Jones has never been that guy. He gets booed a lot because he comes off as fake. He should take Chael Sonnen's advice and embrace the heel role. The comeback fight could be great... if it's against the right person. Daniel Cormier has replaced him against Anthony Johnson next month and I'm sure the UFC is hoping DC does not win. The Jones/Cormier fight was so one-sided that I don't know too many people who would be interested in a rematch. Yes, UFC fighters are considered independant contractors. One way the UFC could potentially address this would be to structure it like they do their new Reebok sponsorship deal. 1-5 fights = 1 day orientation, 6-10 fights = PR/Stress management, 11 fights and up, money management. It would allow them to focus the training where it was most needed. Guys in the 1st tier usually are on the fight pass prelims so they are seen by very few people and are out of the UFC before anyone really knows their name but they still need to know what's expected of them. 2nd tier guys are getting a bit of a name so they'll have to learn how to deal with the attention. 3rd tier guys are now (usually) making much better money and all the trappings that come with it.
  20. Reebok has now terminated their contract with Jones. 2nd major endorsement deal cancelled in 8 months for him (Nike was the 1st). http://mmajunkie.com/2015/04/reebok-terminates-sponsorship-of-ex-ufc-champ-jon-jones
  21. It might be harder for the UFC to implement something like that. The average "major" mma career (Bellator or UFC) is only 1.5 years or 3-4 fights & most of their roster doesn't make anywhere near enough money that they have trouble managing it all. By the time they put the fighters through some life skills training, most of them would have already washed out of the UFC.
  22. Diaz got suspended from a commission though not the UFC. There might still be more fallout for Jones on top of what the UFC has done, he wasn't finished dealing with the NSAC about the press conference brawl with Cormier. NSAC put out a release saying they were monitoring the latest incident closely. Rampage did get away with a very similar situation, but his was a one-time incident while this was strike 3 (at minimum) for Jones. Rampage should have been punished for it though (IMO).
  23. It will be interesting to see how the UFC handles this latest situation. I'm amazed they haven't cancelled his upcoming fight yet.
  24. I didn't see Vega's release coming but I'm a bit surprised it took this long for Morley.
