I'm surprised at how little publicity Lana's sex change received given what we've seen with Caitlyn Jenner recently. I'm a movie nerd so they are much bigger in my little world than Jenner ever will be and I had no idea until about a year ago.

He was definitely a badass, and not just on the screen. I would have loved to have heard his life story (the uncut version). If you listen to the directors commentary during Lee's death scene in LOTR, Peter Jackson tells a story about how they wanted him to make some kind of agonizing noise as he gets killed. Lee told them he actually knows what kind of sound a person makes when they are stabbed in the back like that, and made a gasping/hissing type sound as if the air was being let out of his lungs.
