  1. They all had to have the roster moves into the league by a certain time tonight (9pm. IIRC). When they announce the moves publically is up to them.
  2. Looks like your wagons are in need of repairs. Rangers are done and Dallas could be joining them tomorrow.
  3. Just coming to say that. Not listed on the CFL site but 3DN says it happened. https://3downnation.com/2024/06/01/ticats-release-canadian-de-mason-bennett-american-receiver-omar-bayless-amidst-final-cuts/
  4. Might be a personal reason (like when we suspended Castillo so he could attend to family stuff). If it was a disciplinary suspension, the league would have announced something.
  5. Why wasn't this mentioned in the next mech purchase thread?
  6. That makes sense. I had read the articles about some of his off-field businesses so I knew he was already setting himself up for life after football. The timing of it happening when he was expected to take over at one of the tackle spots is unfortunate as it lead to this type of confusion.
  7. That's his statement. 3D article says they couldn't agree on a restructured contract so he bailed. So he was under contract already and either asked for more or they asked him to take a pay cut going into a season where he was expected to play. I'm guessing it was the former and not the latter. https://3downnation.com/2024/05/16/one-last-look-back-every-cfl-player-who-retired-since-last-season/
  8. Didn't he try to strong-arm the team for more money? I don't the club wanting to bring him back after that.
  9. I thought it improved tremendously once I muted it. 😂
  10. Yeah not a test of how well our offense does as a team but (expectations are very low) but the receivers and QB's are going to be tested individually to see who's going to step up and grab a spot on the team. QB3 and Bailey's replacement need to be determined (if the coaches haven't already decided) so that's what I'm looking for.
  11. Not just a heavier workload but the Stamps are bringing most of their projected starters on offense so he (and the rest of the rookies on D) will be up against legit players and not a bunch of TCF.
  12. They said they took inspiration for colours from the province so I assume the black represents the pit of despair that is Saskatchewan.
  13. This is where more in-depth camp coverage would come in handy. I'd be more enthusiastic about seeing some of these guys if I knew more about them or thought there was a chance they're part of the clubs future. As it sits, I don't expect the vast majority of these guys to be here next week,
  14. Half? It's way more than that - we only have 3 (presumed) starters in Lofton, Fox & Ford playing (4 with Dobson but he's playing center instead of his usual guard position). I really want to see football but I need to hide this line-up from my wife or find someone else to go with - she will not want to sit through this. 😂
  15. No Patrick Rogers again - maybe this guy really doesn't exist? And looking at that O-Line, I would not want Zach back there for any amount of time. Wilson & Grainger are probably going to have a good chance to show their durability!
  16. Collaros also did not play at all in the 2022 pre-season so this isn't the first time they've done this. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2023/05/30/collaros-to-sit-out-preseason-tilt-vs-riders
  17. Last year against Edmonton, he played the entire first quarter and then the first 5 minutes of the second. He was the busiest QB with 8 attempts while the other 3 QB's had a combined total of 12.
  18. 5 bees says he winds up on the 6 game IR at least once this season.
  19. He was mentioned as having taken first team reps the other day as the 5th receiver, Most likely not be here next week if the pattern holds up.
  20. Ford had one tackel & returned one punt in the 1st game (12 yards) so he is an actual person, Coleman has been interviewed a couple times a few weeks back but can't find anything about how he's doing at camp. Patrick Rogers may or may not exist...
  21. TBF, he didn't really fumble the pass, it was in his skates and he had a guy right on top of him - he wasn't going to be able to do anything with the puck. It was a bad pass from Zibanejad, who has taken responsibility for it, that put him in a no win situation, The hook I didn't mind as it prevented a quality scoring chance in OT. He either gives that up and potentially lets the game end or he hopes the PK unit can keep them in it. That being said, if you thought it was deja-vu, I'm sure Maurice did as well and was chuckling about how he was glad he was on the other end of it this time! 😂
  22. Yep. Not a Stove-type situation with recurring Achilles tears but out for the season again none the less. https://3downnation.com/2024/05/29/calgary-stampeders-rule-malik-henry-out-for-season-with-knee-injury/
  23. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the following transactions: Released from roster: American receiver Peter Afful American receiver Tyler Adams American receiver Jaylen Hall American offensive lineman Khalil Keith https://www.bluebombers.com/2024/05/28/blue-bombers-transactions-may-28/
  24. That's a big loss for them. Coming back from an Achilles tear to have it (assumingly) happen again does not bode well for him. The league needs all the star players it can get and he was seemingly on that path after his rookie year.
  25. Good to know it's open I was wondering about this place the other day, I will definitely be trying it out soon!
