I don't think he was complaining (he still went out & did what was asked of him) and he sure wasn't getting the same opportunity as Brown. His issue wasn't playtime, it was the fact they were using him as a battering ram, rather than as a QB. He's getting that opportunity now but it definitely wasn't the case last season so he did have a reason to question coming back.

But now you have guys, like Strevy who has FIFO tattooed on his body, that have to be convinced things will be better in order to come back.

I'm not a fan of the extension as it was premature (imo) and I really hope there's no guaranteed money involved. It looks bad given their track record of sticking with underperforming/aging players so I hope Walters was able to get a team friendly deal and it's one we can walk away from, if need be.

How many of our "starters" would be starters on other teams. You're never going to have best at each position but I think we have too many who are closer to the bottom.

Yeah I asked the same thing recently. On one hand, we haven't needed to be very active in FA most years but on the other hand we lost/moved on from a higher amount of starters than usual this off season so you would have expected to maybe see at least one impact FA brought in. I look at that as Kenny correcting a big mistake he made rather than the club going out and getting something done. 🤣
