  1. I have definitely watched it way too many times as well. He had Smith over his right shoulder but he looked left, as if he expected another rusher (who never came). By the time he turned back to Smith, it was too late. Didn't get a hand on Smith until he was already laying out to block the kick. Half a second quicker and it might be an entirely different story. 😞
  2. I like Sayles but I'm still mad at him for pretty much letting Robbie Smith have a free run at Leggs, allowing him to block the kick at the end of GC. If he's not back, I won't be too upset.
  3. Kolankowski hadn't seen a whole lot of live action before Couture went down either though, and he did just fine. He didn't play for 2 years (2019-2020) then sat on the PR most of 2021 (back-up for 2 games at the end of the year). He backed-up Couture for 2 more games to start 2022 before the injury and the he's starting in game 3. I'm not even sure he saw the field once in those four games (teams or short yardage maybe?) but either way, he get much action between the end of 2018 and the start of 2022.
  4. Does AC Leonard know how easy it is?
  5. Scraping the bottom of the barrel but Stefanson doesn't have much choice at this point. Don't worry about Guillemard's education though, she can just drive by the U of M and then claim that she went there. It's the same thing in her world.
  6. I'll give Ballsy credit for one thing... he's (unintentionally) made this off-season pretty entertaining. I usually don't laugh at Saskatchewan this much until June.
  7. Doesn't Drew know money goes much further in Regina and there are way more off the field opportunities? Big mistake... 😂
  8. Yup, Bombers were close apparently but with our current OL, I think that money is better spent elsewhere. Good for him though and better Ottawa than Regina!
  9. https://3downnation.com/2023/01/30/canadian-ol-drew-desjarlais-signs-with-ottawa-redblacks-following-nfl-stint/
  10. Seems his schtick isn't being well received by all Gappers.
  11. I think bringing the PlayStation last time might be what bumped it to the glamping category. 😂 It kept our friends kids occupied & left the adults free to drink so it was a win win.
  12. The wife keeps an air fryer in the camper in case of rain so it's just another option now for us. I hesitate to even call it camping though... Definitely not roughing it by any means! 😂
  13. Tried steak in the air fryer for the first time last night and was impressed. While not as good as the sous vide, it was way quicker and easier. It's going to be a great option for short notice meals and for camping.
  14. Another minister leaving Stefanson. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/cameron-friesen-candice-bergen-portage-lisgar-manitoba-1.6728524
  15. Having played both games recently, I can confirm that it's been pretty bang on to the source material so far. Some minor changes but that's inevitable so no complaints from me. I was skeptical of Bella Ramsey playing Ellie but so far so good. They told both leads not to watch any of the game stuff, so they can make the characters their own. Both admit to checking some stuff out so I'm sure that is one reason why it's been so similar to the game (at least from a character standpoint). There's only two episodes of LOU out so there's not much to get into yet. We watched the 1st episode of the 90's show... really wanted to like it but I don't know if we'll be going back for episode 2. Didn't find it funny aside from Red & Kitty.
  16. I didn't think anyone could top Rod P but Ball takes being a clown to a whole new level.
  17. Don't forget Cody! They really wanted him back but they wanted to see what FA could offer as well.
  18. Ballsy when BLM told him he was going to test FA:
  19. His twitter is comedy gold... he's now spinning it as being a case where IF he had made it to FA, BLM would have signed with Sask. He says BLM told him personally that he was going to test FA so that's what he went with (apparently Ballsy isn't too familiar with sports cliches and typical athlete interview answers). Also says he knew this was coming for over a week since he's closer to the situation than most but if you're that close to the situation, how did you get it so wrong?
  20. Show has been pushed back a day to March 15th due to TV network schedule changes.
  21. We have Richmond being groomed as a possible replacement (assuming he can bounce back from his injury). You never know what the next guy will bring though. Stanley was already established as a top OT from his time Calgary but I don't know that anyone here expected Yoshi to turn out like he did. He had already been cast aside by two teams and even the Bombers had concerns so they had a weight clause added to his contract. 6 seasons later, he's a staple on the right side of the line and one of the most popular players we have.
  22. Those are pretty common closures though and the issues are usually cleared up in a few days. If the restaurant was doing that poorly, it may have been the final straw for the owners. No point spending money to fix things if they were already contemplating shutting down.
