Probably a few insertions too...

Yep, Ackie even mentions that just because he feels one way, doesn't mean others will. I can understand Canadian players not being happy about the ratio but there were a lot of gains on the players side. You're never going to be 100% happy and that goes for both sides, like I'm sure the ownership group isn't overly thrilled with giving up a chunk of Grey Cup revenue.

Are there any other bases you would like to cover? It might just be simpler to predict there will be a Western Conference team meeting an Eastern Conference team in the finals.

It didn't go down quite like that... it was 2017 and Hewie had been running around for 2 days before CO's were able to tranquilize him. They were transporting him to a more suitable location when he died. The official statement said it was due to the stress & exertion of running through a populated area in hot weather. No, your recollection is pretty good. https://www.thestar.com/sports/football/2017/09/11/moose-that-almost-delayed-blue-bombers-roughriders-game-dies-due-to-stress-manitoba-government-says.html I still have video of Hewie going for a swim in the pond south west of the stadium. We used to walk through there to get to IGF and he was our pre-game entertainment that day.

Yup. Told my buddy I don't have to worry about being up late at this rate! Still lots of game left though. Very thankful for the CBA news tonight, at least there's something to be happy about.

My current feelings can be summed up with one character on repeat: ******* ******* *******.

Tomorrow is the 1st day the Alberta players can officially go on strike like the other teams but it looks they are choosing not to. This is after they voted 99% in favour of striking... so much for solidarity between players. https://3downnation.com/2022/05/17/stamps-elks-may-practice-on-wednesday-instead-of-going-on-strike-report/

I doubt it. Moxies and Shark Club have the same owners so I'm guessing when they say "join us", they are referring to other locations/restaurants owned by Northland Properties.

That remains to be seen - Steamboat is 69 and hasn't wrestled since 2010, so he might look great but lets see how that translates to the ring. That being said, it's not a singles match so their actual in ring time will be fairly limited I'm sure. It's reportedly going to be a 6 man tag with Flair teaming up with FTR to take on Steamboat & the Rock N Roll Express & Steamboat. The Express are up there in age as well (63 & 65) but at least they've stayed somewhat active.

Yep, players from every team are doing this (afaik). It's just about being ready when things do get settled. Players for the Bombers & Riders especially want to be ready as there is still a pre-season game scheduled in a week. If that doesn't get cancelled, they'll have an even shorter window to prepare.

Florida man with drugs around penis denies they were his. https://mynbc15.com/amp/news/nation-world/florida-man-with-drugs-around-penis-denies-they-were-his-12-23-2021

Can't think of the Hammer or Lambo/Lamborghini at the moment but the rest seemed pretty straight forward. How'd I do?

I'm hoping having DT here will improve what we hear coming out of camp (main camp at least). I've seen Rider fans asking him who they should follow for their camp updates now that he's gone so I assume he was adding some value for their fanbase.

No Troypod?

DT had tweeted that one of the receivers was on crutches after Day 1 - no names mentioned though and I haven't seen anything else. Might be hard to keep track of with all the new names here for rookie camp.

Rory definitely came to mind when I saw Jay Detain!

I switched to Zevia last year. A number of their flavours are great... Their root beer can easily pass for A&W's. Double post.

2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
bigg jay replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Yeah you have to take anything from 3DN with a grain of salt but he was at the bottom of their list (15th of 15 OL ranked). Ferguson, in his final mock draft, had him as a 7th round pick so being picked up after the draft as a FA doesn't seem too far off.
