  1. Firing him midseason is a trap. Then you get a situation like when Crowton was let go and Bellefeuille was brought in. Hard to make changes wholesale midseason so it's not really improving anything, but hey the guy works well with the rest of the staff might as well just keep him. If the offence is going to be ****** the rest of this season regardless why not wait until the offseason to make the change and then you can go out and find the best candidate and not have the temptation to just go with the easy status quo hire. Except that MB has proven he can't win with our current players. And his playcalling is terrible. Why reward that kind of work? Give something else a try, even if for shits and giggles. Never wanted him here in the first place.
  2. I like DOD's post above. But I still think the hard nose needs to start now with MB being let go. Cobble together what you can for the rest of the season with current personel and start holding people accountable. Not ranting and raving but a happy medium between that and the passive-aggressive look we have now. Sit guys who take undisciplined penalties right when they take them. Maybe just for a quarter but do something. Up until this week I wasn't looking for MOS to be fired but not dealing with MB after that embarrasment if enough to get me on that bandwagon. Deal with the issues and I'd be happy to see MOS next year. More of the same and he will be gone.
  3. Jeb is the only one who can keep Hilliary out of the White House. He's the only one who can sway the middle ground, undecided voter away from her. Once the circus has run it's course, I hope those on the right can see that. And I think Hilliary would be a worse President than Obama has been.
  4. So do it. Change the OC now and show that improvements are coming. I'm tired of MB's lame offense. Tired enough that I doubt I will watch this weekend. I'm not excited to see what ST will do now the MOS is directly in charge. I would be excited to see what the offense could do under a different OC.
  5. Do you really think MOS is going to say at his presser, "Yes, if we don't win this week and the offense still sucks, I'm firing Marcel"? First i don't think MOS has the power to fire anyone he may have a say but management controls that part of the team. And yes it would be a breathe of fresh air if MOS would light a fire under this team because being everyone's friend is not working How about saying "The team has to have a better showing or their will be more jobs on the line including mine."? Why do you need to say that when everyone in every sport everywhere knows that's true without it having to be said? Because it shows a pulse. It's a **** lot better than the deer in the headlights response he gives currently. He was supposed to be the accountability coach and it be nice to see some of that. No it doesn't. I watched the clip on the bombers website this afternoon, he said quite a bit in there. I don't see what the problem is other than some people want the ranting and raving like the lunatic fan base. I don't want ranting. I want evidence things are changing and the firing of Tracy is not enough. I want evidence he understands how poorly his team is showing and that he has the brains to walk off the field and discuss the game without having to watch film to see what's wrong. Show us something that says he understands the play is not good enough and that continuing to do little to nothing isn't good enough. And stop ******* smirking on the sidelines as the team is self destructing.
  6. great call.. without knowing what is happening behind the scenes and what really is the end game... suggesting such a thing is a little much... especially after a move like firing a coach has jusy gone down.. Bullshit. These guys are judged by their on-the-field production. That's their job and if they can't perform then the behind-the-scenes crap is just an excuse. They made a couple changes (Nichols and Tracy) but if this doesn't pan out, then what is next? More behind the scenes crap?
  7. Agreed. Go after an experienced coach and pay right. Then let him bring in his team of coaches. We keep firing guys every 2 years because we keep hiring **** people as coach.

  10. I'll take a Grey Cup win period. Whatever it takes to get it one year. Even if it kills the team for 5 years. I'm sick of rebuilding years coming after a piss-poor showing. Sucking through rebuilding years after success would be a fresh change.
  11. I want to see him actually do "something". Sit players for dumb penalties. You don't have to yell at them, just point to the bench and leave it at that. He's done nothing as a coach to reduce the number of stupid penalties and I'm sick and tired of it. Don't throw a guy under the bus to the media, but if someone take 3-4 dumb penalties, hey, he's not on the roster next game. A coach can make players accountable without going apeshit on them. MOS is doing neither.
  12. She's an elected official. Other than a recall, the State Legislature would have to pass a bill to have her removed from office. Neither will happen because that's the way Kentucky is. An elected official gives out marriage licenses? Something's wrong with that. It's Kentucky. Plus she was stopping paid staff from giving them out. She's in jail for contempt of court and that is what she deserves. If she is against gay marriage, fine. But stopping her staff from performing their jobs as legally required is not fine, regardless of her convictions. Those defending her don't understand either the laws or basic human rights.
  13. I'm stunned someone wants MB as HC. Absolutely stunned.
  14. I'm just scared he will be the HC. But nothing would surprise me they way the Bombers are run.
  15. Hoped to see an announcment by now. Guess this means I jump on the fire MOS bandwagon. If he can't see the need to make this move now, then why the hell is he head coach?
  16. I draw the line at the dog kicking. Wouldn't let him kick my dog.
  17. The only time he's ever started a game he was 14/23 for 194 yards no tds and no ints.... Let's see what he can do before we go completely doom and gloom. Those numbers aren't horrible, perhaps the guy just sucks coming off the bench into shitty games?Yeah resting on the bench tends to affect a QBs aim.Maybe resting ,caused his eyes to stray to the turf hence his ground balls. How many turf skips we gonna get now? 90% of the game is half mental. Only 30% of the time though.
  18. So when do we announce the signing of Tino?
  19. Agreed. Not sure I can bring myself to watch the game.
  20. I haven't watched today's game and knowing the score I probably won't but the thought of starting over again is too much. I don't have an answer but I am tired of this team right now.
  21. My throat is bugging me because of it. And my eyes were burning this morning. Looks like no end in sight for the smoke here. Heading to the coast this weekend so hopefully I can get out of it for a bit.
  22. Still think it will be Ottawa this week.
  23. Agreed. Riders have been close a couple of times and Ottawa seems to be imploding. But if the right Burris shows up, could go the other way.
  24. Well. The strategy of picking an injured player didn't work for a bunch of us.
  25. I think you might be camping wrong.... anyway I'll hope that Andrew Harris can come up big for me. No camping for me. Campground is gone. Burned to the ground and took everyones stuff in the process. http://www.castanet.net/edition/news-story-145945-3-.htm#145945
