  1. Going camping where there are no tv's. Wish I had headed out yesterday......
  2. Bit late, but I think this is more appropriate
  3. Don't forget the Christians killing non-Christians. Something called the Crusades. The crusades were mainly a defensive response to the Muslims invading Europe and followed four hundred years of Islam attacking and killing Christians. And they tried to reclaim the holy land as the Christians there were suffering greatly under the ruling Muslims. If there was no crusades, Europe would have fallen. You keep on defending one of the most brutal actions by the Church in 2000 years. Enjoy that, but I'm not biting.
  4. Come on guys. Our D is improving. We gave up 497 against Riders and only 441 against Hammy.
  5. Count me as the odd one who am glad Marve didn't play. Don't see the point in putting him in there to get killed. But I would like to see him get the main reps this week and start against Montreal. Give him time to work with the starters and really see what he can do in a game. After what Brohm showed, I don't think he deserve the start.
  6. This was a concern to me as well, however, that could be Hall calling a more conservative game knowing what Durant can do with his legs This should have changed once Glenn was in. Should have gone hard at him and hit him a couple of times.

  8. Thats not entirely true. Ancient Greece and Rome, Mesopotamia, some regions in China, and some older European areas allowed a same-sex marriages until Christianity came into more prominence. This needs to be reiterated. From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_same-sex_unions "Same-sex marriage was outlawed on December 16, 342 AD by the Christian emperors Constantius II and Constans." "In North America, among the Native Americans societies, same-sex unions have taken place with persons known as Two-Spirit types. These are individuals who fulfill one of many mixed gender roles in First Nations and Native American tribes. "In many tribes, individuals who entered into same-sex relationships were considered holy and treated with utmost respect and acceptance," according to anthropologist Brian Gilley." Many more examples on that page. This is not a new occurence. Turns out it was the Church who changed the meaning of marriage centuries ago. Now they are grumpy that it is changing back.
  9. Who was injured for Calgary?
  10. Anyone expecting Terminator:Genisys to be good? Looking at the critic reviews on RT, doesn't sound so interesting. I've go no desire for another ST movie. The last one sucked big time. Who (except Futurama) puts a Starship in the ocean?
  11. I'm in favour of same-sex marriage. Should have never been outlawed by the Romans in the 300's. I'm going to express dissapointment at the SC ruling. My dissapointment is that it still fell on party lines, with Kennedy being essentially the decision maker. So one man has the responsibility and the power to make this decision for all of the US. How ****** up is that? How can, what is suppossed to be a question of law, be so clearly split on party lines and ideology? I know there are dissenting opinions on law, but that is not what this is. I hope the SC understands that these types of rulings undermine their credibility.
  12. They aren't the same team with Glenn. Opposing teams know to knock him to the ground to give him happy feet and he's done. Unless he gets outstanding protection, he will start tossing the ball wildly. Just wish we had hit him once or twice after he got in.
  13. I think they should be testing out where the rule changes apply. Get used to the new rules. Other than that, play like a normal game. Not sure I'd sneak more on 3rd in pre-season. Kinda what's the point.
  14. I'm thinking Seattle would be a good choice. Sports seem to do well there and they have a decent WHL following. Not hard for that to translate to NHL. Plus they have the population and economy to support it.
  15. Explain it to Burke then..... takes a ******* knee
  16. So, if I can get logged into TSN and watch sportscenter on my computer, (using Shawgo credentials), will I be able to watch the game online? Or am I missing something?
  17. Nobody could handle the media like Mike Kelly though. Guy was a genious.....
  18. Spoilers. I still have trouble with Stark and Banner creating Ultron in secret the way they did. I know they tried to tell a story, but I just didn't buy it. These two were so against the secrets in the first movie that this just didn't ring true for me. Language was funny. Thor's hammer was funny, especially when Cap was trying. I'm still not quite sure how Vision came to be and that seemed rushed as well as Ultron. Liked it. Not as much as the first but 8'ish.
  19. While, in general, I agree with you, Bill C-51 and they way it is being brought in scares me. So do some of the past comments (Toews) regarding privacy issues. I do think it is time for a change federally, but I wish that didn't mean a choice between the NDP and Man-Boy
  20. At least give me credit for pointing this out to you.... Geeezzzzz
  21. If your going to take a penalty for hitting Kessler, at least level him.
  22. Poor kid. TO be that young with that serious a drinking problem....
