Walters to be on CJOB live momentarily
Zontar replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Doubt we have any interest in Glenn. Bellefeuille was still trying to replace Glenn with Porter at the end of the 2011 season. Is Glenn swallowing his pride to go back to the town that rode him out on a rail plus the meh relationship he has with Marcel too much to ask ? -
Matt Nichols recently offered to Bombers

Serious. Seen lots of good, bad and ugly from Hall but if there was a game where NIchols demonstrated clear superiority I did not see that game. -

Not seeing how Nichols is better than Max Hall. -

I dunno he's already been canned from the only other GM position he held how good is he really? Remember how hard everyone laughs at the Printers contract in Hamilton, guess who gave that one out. Was going to say .. the hot mess that was Hamilton begs to differ .. He was already on his way out the door when that deal happened. But there are plenty of other astonishly amateur-hour moves he made when he was here. -
REDBLACKS major announcement today, Burris Signed
Zontar replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
LOL...So Hamilton was the better place to be?!!? Ask Zach Clements was done in HAM as Brock was in WPG. Fans were hostile at his underachieving and Calvillo-like moping. Not a lot of complaining when he was dealt. I remember those days well. You could get a bag of popcorn and a Pepsi at IWS for a nickel. Of course in those days nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Five bees for a quarter" we used to say. ...So anyway...Um.. -
is anyone getting "that" feeling with Henry Burris...

If the was a Most Outstanding Agent award Hank's just won it. -
The name Tim Hortons speaks to its quality or lack of it. It will be a monmument to bad city governance and private sector welfare.

Not convinced he's a starter but throw starter money at him ? Surprised that contradiction is getting more play with WPG media. -
Spoke too soon..looks like this years TiCat season seat campaign is Collaros and Tim Hortons Field : He's Awesome and It's Way Better Than Investors Group Field

With a $150 million budget ? I didnt say the criticisms made sense.

Blue Jays (Rogers) banner ads, WTF ?

A TICAT FAN!!! BOOOOOOOO! Hissss!! You can't sway us with your sweet tantalizing words and firm buttocks. Give it time, it aint last call yet.

LOL, relax, he's just pumping tires. As far as anyone else saying this I havnt heard or read one politican, fan, or employee say it. If anything it has been the opposite, tons of people have complained if city and team could pull its head out of its ass we could have had a stadium like IGF instead of having to settle. Apart from the press box thing it will still be the best in the league, you can all sleep tight with that.

yeah absolutely. So stop thinking it's a negative, it's what good coaches and GMs do. So if I were Collaros I wouldn't be acting like Austin is his buddy. He's the boss and if performance isn't up to snuff then there's no buddies there. Friendship only goes so far. That would describe most if not all competent coaches , no ?

Austin tried twice to extend his contract and Burris turned him down. ....And now back to the Austin Has No Loyalty Game. Thanks for conveniently not mentioning any salary numbers or indications of any sort. It keeps your credibility nice and low. Its not surprising, seeing as he is a ti-cat fan and he feels the need to defend any and all actions made by the hamismell team.. (and yea yea I know how contradictory this statement sounds coming from me) Austin tried twice to extend his contract and Burris turned him down. ....And now back to the Austin Has No Loyalty Game. In an attempt to feel good about losing Collaros and maybe gaining Burris some are denigrating Austin and insinuating a lack of loyalty etc. I pointed out there's more to the story as Austin tried to retain him, twice. ....Carry on. tried to retain him a year ago.... it was widely talked about how Burris was falling out of favour throughout the year last. My point stands. And it's not a negative about Austin just a reality that he's a cut throat guy. Buono is the same and no one uses it as a negative with him. Add Huffy to the list. He was in the same dilemma with Hank and did the same thing.

Me too and for Austin to struggle too. Stay classy. Every Bomber fan should hate Hamilton. 6 Grey Cup contest between each other. The 2001 and 2011 East Finals. The Boat Incident. 92 East Final when WPG fans pelted HAM's bench with snowballs was also memorable.

Rider fan circle jerk and mutual masterbation festival pauses for a moment of silence.

Whoa, that was fast. Was WPG ever really a serious contender, money -wise ?
-
Bucknor is moderately usefull and experienced but wasnt going to get much playing time here. HAM needs CDN depth at rec., trade makes sense.

I would take their boring wins and Grey Cups over the ****-show in Hamilton any day.Yup. And I mean, what class by those ticats when they jumped into the boat in our old stadium. It was as if ron burgandy himself was celebrating.. Fixed. Fine. By that same token, AC's gazillion other examples of sportsmanship and excellent team player attitude should outweigh a half season of sour puss attitude.. Never said he was a bad person. Point was its too bad he came off like a damp squib in public when the CFL could have used just a little personality, a bit of flash to market and get non CFL diehards interested in watching. If it wasnt for the odd chest thumping of Stewart and the odd dirty play of Sanchez and Cox you'd have to check those Als teams for a pulse.
