Chevy cant block or catch, other than that...

Anyone who says they wouldnt want Banks on their team is either an idiot or a liar. Never, ever been a professional sport in any era that didnt have self absorbed extroverts like Banks. Only difference with Banks is he is more flamboyant about it because the present media age allows for it.

Prider Fans double standard. When they go over cap because of injury problems its the truth. We're entitled, Evil Empire, blah , blah Anyone else ? its a lie! its mismanagment ! Teams must take cap seriously !

Haywood lived in my building and was 5'7 at best. Completely off topic but whenever Haywwod's name comes up I think of the bomber fan who came to a HAM home game in a Haywood sweater and acted like a complete jack-tool the entire time. Wouldnt have cared but WPG won so...you know...

Celtic supporters and those are the handsome ones.

It s all very "forward thinking" and "progressive" but slapping another layer of rules into the laps of officials who have trouble getting the previous rules called correctly is going to defeat the purpose of the suits who decided on this. 32 yd single point on a bad weather day late in the year with everything riding on it is a tantilizing prospect.

"Hi, I'm Bob from Swift Current. The Riders are the heart and soul of the CFL do you think that will reach new heights or just remain with the same dominance. Also will fans of other teams stop being so jealous" ?

He's a WR ... Well that explains a lot....including me. Irony is he looks a lot like Bakari Grant, whom they just re-signed last week, and may well end up as his replacement. Grant is even money at best being on the 2015 roster despite the re-signing..

HAM just signed an LB Tiquan Underwood. Knocked around NFL for a bit. Thought HAM was set at LB but I suppose he's worth a look.

Levant like him or not says things that have to be said. CDN media is centre left and so concentrated the diversity of opinion is almost nil. If you take real political discourse on the popular level seriously you need people like Levant.

Maher was a mediocre talent in search of an angle to prolong career and found it in politics and the social condition as Americans love to talk about as it is a self absorbed society. Glen Beck is a lot like that too.

Thank you for info.

Cohon is an American as well. Thank you assumed he was CDN.
-
Nary a peep about him being american. I dont mind. But does he/did he even watch CFL very much ? Seems to have a good mix of egg-head and business saavy. If he can broker Argo / BMO deal his legacy is almost secure from the start.

I'd appreciate the romantic idea of keeping them in a stone-age mentality and be permanent victims more if it were applied evenly but when certain people who praise themselves as modern, broad-minded, enlightened and fair... Pat indians on the head , treat them like children and tell them how wise valuable and interesting their old fables, traditions and culture are and beg them not to change a thing.... yet turn on a dime and condemn a Christian for being out of step with modern society and morality. Hypocrisy is comical if it werent so obvious and blatant.
-
To be so unapologetically ignorant about the steps taken in building this country isn't much better. Ignorant because I refuse to be a guilt-ridden white liberal and apologize for wanting to bring indians into modernity ?

To brag of Canada's multiculutural society but pretend there is nothing wrong with a seperate set of rules for aboriginals is both shameful and ludicrous.

You may want to brush up on your history, Residential schools punished native children for speaking their first languages, often with beatings, starvation, denials of medical and dental care, and frequent sexual abuse. At that time, natives were forbidden to wear regalia in public, perform traditional ceremonies, or even gather outside of reserves in groups of more than 2 at a time. Families were destroyed by children having little contact with their families in the formative years from 6 to 16. There were some kind and gentle people staffing the schools, but there were a lot of monsters as well. There is even evidence that disease-carrying blankets were handed out to native communities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. You may also want to read the comments may by John A. McDonald about his plans for natives. You cannot blame the sins on the essence of the system. Schools were designed to transform Indians into the best and enlightened individuals they thought a person could be - Christian, english speaking, learning a trade and contributing to society. Explain how encouraging them to be backward with ancient susperstitions - all enabled by so called native "leaders", in ghettos under a corrupt system is the better way to go ? The sins of rampant alcoholism , unemployment and aimlessness in life is as great or greater than what "we" ever did to them.
-
Yes teaching Indians how to read and write and become productive members of the 20th century society is outrageous.

The Crusades were a political and religious response to muslim invasions of the Holy Land that were both centres of faith and commerce. Christian Europe's counter invasion , but not the attrocities, was completely justified and logical by any standard of the day then or now.

Can you imagine the wailing that will come from Saskatchewan if he goes to Calgary and plays well? Oh that would be sweet music to the ears. They'd never admit it. going to go out on a limb and say Getzlaff is this year's Rider to be pulled off the holy altar. Now that his salary's out. Him or Shea Emery - he's new and an easier target if he ends up mediocre like he was last year.
-
I would have laughed not out of derision but disbelief.
-
Shomari Wms. to CAL. Rider fans lose a punching bag. Wonder who his replacement will be. Rider fans need someone to hate and blame as much as they need one to over-rate and worship.
-
If someone other than one who lived in the region had told me that I would have laughed in their face.

I spent a year in Estevan called July and August in 1990. That town makes Honey Boo-Boo look like Stephen Hawking. I got a buddy who just moved there... Tattoo artist, of all careers.. I have to assume hes pretty much braindead by this point.. Then he's probably joined a cowboy church and is ready to vote for Brad Wall. "cowboy church" ? do tell.
