It is what it is.....

It would be a "bad look"

What about Pence, the Cabinet, all his inner advisers and other Republicans all around the Hill? Most of the GOP have faithfully followed Trump's coat tails on his willful ignorance and denial of facts around the virus. This is going to come back on them like a sledgehammer...

Bleach.....Ultraviolet.....Hydroxy.....Warmth

And to think I used to accuse Lindsay Graham of being dishonest..... "Trump is a race-baiting, xenophobic religious bigot. He doesn’t represent my party. He doesn’t represent the values that the men and women who wear the uniform are fighting for." "Donald Trump is not a conservative Republican. He's an opportunist. He's not fit to be President of the United States." "I cannot in good conscience support Donald Trump [...] I think embracing Donald Trump is embracing demographic death." "Trump is the most unprepared person I’ve ever met to be commander in chief." — Lindsey Graham, 2015-2016

Well, what did you think I was talking about, there? 😄

If Trump loses.... Given that Trump the private citizen can look forward to multiple legal indictments (tax fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, among others) without the shield of the Presidency, and probably be somewhat shunned by all those Republicans who used to shine his shoes..... Been giving this a certain amount of thought.... Trump's best solution is to gather up Frankie Williams, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kayleigh McEnany, Mike Pence, and the rest of the devotees.....and fly to a remote part of a suitable jungle environment (Brazil makes some sense). There he can set up a special MAGA camp and call it Trumpville. Life would be good, with daily rallies, and being able to listen to Orange Lord 24/7 without having to depend on Twitter. President for Life.

A proud boy indeed....

Watched that interview. Like Graham and the rest of the so-called Republican "leaders"..........just another shine-box boy

Cruising around the Web, have discovered that yes indeed it was all Chris Wallace's fault. Because according to some sources, him and Biden "ganged up" on poor Donald Trump He knows this, Hence, the ole raging Twitter mode

Next debate may go better. Town Hall format with microphones (that could be shut off, by moderator)

In fairness to Wallace.....Trump was simply bent, bound and determined not to engage in anything resembling a actual debate. Probably scared to do so. His "answers" to direct questions were nothing but plenty of riffing, spinning, lying and a complete inability to stay on topic.

Have been watching Presidential debates since the 70's. Tonight was by far.... the most dismal, chaotic and inept debate, I have ever seen. Period. Biden had some verbal stumbles, missed some potential opportunities, and on a couple of occasions, simply dropped the ball, on his answers to the particular question asked. But in the end, hardly any one really noticed, as Trump put on a gob smacking performance for the ages..... time after time... he clearly demonstrated his total lack of any moral, and intellectual qualities, required of a President. This was all delivered with the temperament of a agitated 12 year old. Featuring serial interrupting, shouting, and of course....lying. Some of his responses on issues (Covid, white supremacy, Biden's military son, among others) were simply astounding, and not in a good way. Republicans are going to have to spin this, like never before....

But those drugs man, those drugs....
-
In the interests of being evenhanded..... Both Biden and Trump should be required to take the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test and the results made public......

With a 0.00 margin of error

Almost as ironic as Donald Trump posing as a "law and order" President

Watched the Fox panel explaining how Trump ignoring reality with the virus, and lying to the people, this avoiding "panic"...... was actually some form of enlightened leadership. According to Tucker Carlson, Trump's comments to Woodward was actually L. Graham's fault.....for "allowing" the interviews to take place. Fox can kill brain cells, so I have to carefully limit my dose....
-
Unrealistic to expect cult members to denounce the leader, no matter what he says and does. But, the galling part is that there are plenty of Republicans who recognize the danger.....but who lack total understanding of what Trump is doing to that country, or more importantly, the intestinal fortitude to address it. The GOP currently stands for nothing....

Trump couldn't help himself. Looking at Woodward as a fellow celeb, he just couldn't. Or was trying to massage a better result, on this book, than Woodward's first book, because after all...Trump is so much smarter than anyone. Pretty sure that people around Trump had a seizure, finding out that there was 30 hours of interviews on tape. As far as the content - it simply provided some confirmation that Trump and his administration was spinning, deflecting and outright lying about the virus, right from the get go. Or if you like....the normal modus operandi. Plenty of people around these parts have figured this out already. From Trump's twisted point of view, it made sense. Having thousands of Americans die, by withholding crucial information about the virus wasn't as important...... as say a potential trade deal (win) with China, and preventing a panic......... of the stock market. Sick.

A two hour tour....a two hour tour...

He should. The Biden administration has done a terrible job of managing things, the last number of years. Vote Trump for real change.....

Sure, for decades, seen all kinds of stuff, go down. But, the big difference here, whether it is abusing executive branch powers, attacking judicial and legislative branches, dismissing traditional allies, cozening up to dictators, enriching himself and family, nepotism, burning down the emoluments clause or the Hatch Act, treating any major crisis like a political football, politicizing the DOJ, endorsing fascists, and inciting class and culture warfare...... ....is simply how blatantly and openly Trump goes about all of this.....literally shoving it right into peoples faces. The more he gets away with it, of course the more the Don will push the envelope. It also helps that the current Republican Party is now merely a gutless bunch of total lackeys, and complete flunkies....who spend their time face planting and kowtowing to the mighty Trump.

Usually, the US parties use their convention to produce a platform articulating its priorities for the next president. The GOP has dispensed with producing a 2020 platform. Instead, the Republican National Committee passed a resolution renewing what delegates enacted in 2016, bashing the news media and offering "whole hearted support for Mr. Trump." So, the Republican Party’s official stance in 2020 is that it is simply for whatever Mr. Trump says. Whatever the hell that might be, on Twitter, or on his fake "news conferences" As clearly illustrated, the last few days, the bottom line, is that GOP political and intellectual thought..... has now been reduced to.... fapping for Donald Trump. Sad.
