NEVER MIND THE FAKE NEWS! Trump will be holding a Town Hall, this afternoon, on FOX. Where we will finally get the straight dope, on this terrible situation. Provided I consume copious amounts of gin....

Trump hates both of them.....who in different ways, makes him look bad

The "stumbling block" Nancy Pelosi: “We require that any corporation that takes taxpayer dollars must protect their workers’ wages and benefits — not CEO pay, stock buybacks or layoffs.” Shame on her.
-
Once again today, simply a lot of spitballing and bluster from Trump, when actually facing legit questions.

Generally don't have the time of day for Trudeau......but Trump makes him look like a total stable genius.

Hear you, but he came out of the tunnel with it on backwards, played most of the half like that, Jack Matheson made particular mention of the "turn around" in his column the next day, as well

Beating Trump is one thing, but the GOP should also pay a heavy price....

1984 upset win against BC in Western Final Lions were supposedly unbeatable in their noisy dome. Outstanding game from D and James Murphy 1984 Cup win against Hamilton Blue fall behind 14-0 early against Brock, but roar back to turn it into blowout Cup win, ending my first long drought Milt Miracle Time for one play, looking at pretty tough loss on the road. Started to get out of my chair, for some reason sat back down......oh no! Milt running down the field, and DOD jumping up and down, with gin all over his shirtfront. Don Jonas reverse jersey game against the Stamps Flintstone throws 4 picks in terrible first half, throws tantrum in tunnel, comes out with jersey on backwards, throws 4 TDs in 2nd half to lead huge comeback. Stamps player tries to punch me, during postgame 1990 Cup Win Bombers take a real good Edmonton team, and..... backed by one of the all time best CFL defences, completely dismantle them Concorde grounding Montreal comes in with a heavily hyped squad featuring Vince Ferragamo, Billy "White Shoes" Johnson and other ex-NFL "big names"......and gets obliterated by 50 points. Bombers were totally merciless, that night

Historically, the IOC has a well established track record as one of the most corrupt entities on the planet. If they take a bath, fine with me.

Centerpiece of the deal (which was drafted, before Democrats even saw any proposals - 500 billion in loans and guarantees for corporations, not across the board, but case by case, at the sole discretion of the administration. With no legal brakes on buybacks (stock) Nifty slush fund for certain 1 percenters. Priorities......

Just watching another yet stupefying episode of political kabuki theater. .....also known as the daily Coronavirus Task Force Briefing, starring Donald Trump. Check it out later......

Ole Lou Dobbs, who even late last week on Fox, was calling the virus a hoax.....has tested positive.
-
Cuomo has also stated that whatever happens "I'll take the blame" The contrast with Trump is on the surface, quite startling. Though, for people who have observed Trump for a while.....its no real surprise. No morals, no character, no leadership.

I did. Darn, just outed myself, again....

Lets not get over the top about this virus thing.....like say, those excitable types in Italy and Spain. Ignoring the literal definition of "Pandemic", would be helpful as well.

Fox is suddenly bringing it. Also reported by the New York Post and Daily Beast. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/kelly-loeffler-coronavirus-stock Be interesting to see how many other legislators and/or administration folks, became speculators during this virus business. 2 Senators, already.

Tucker Carlson calls on Burr to resign amid reports of stock selloff https://thehill.com/homenews/media/488576-tucker-carlson-calls-on-burr-to-resign-amid-reports-of-stock-selloff-due-to Burr, the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, reportedly offloaded between $582,029 and $1.56 million of stock on Feb. 13 in almost 30 different transactions days after lawmakers on the intelligence committee were briefed on the virus. What is with Tucker Carlson? For over a decade, churning out bigoted, malicious and non-factual junk - now the guy follows a couple of sensible pieces about the virus, and the need to take positive actions....with this above stuff. Did he make a secret visit to Damascus? With the backtracking from some of the other usual propaganda suspects, this week - is Fox turning a pivot, here? Fascinating.

After looking around further, I have no choice than to offer up an apology to our dedicated posters, for misquoting Donald Trump. ....while taking no responsibility, at all

On a more positive note: After weeks of criticism, the Trump administration has reversed course on its request to cut funds for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in its 2021 budget. "This FY 2021 Budget amendment increases funding for CDC to ensure that the Agency has the resources beginning October 1, 2020, to continue its critical public health mission," White House Budget Chief Russ Vought wrote to Congress in a letter dated Tuesday. Just last week, Vought doubled down on the administration's request to cut health funds in the 2021 budget, telling a House Appropriations subcommittee that "no, I’m not sending up a budget amendment.” The administration had proposed cutting $1.2 billion from the CDC and $451 million from NIAID as compared to current funding.
