A number of well trafficked websites feature lots of folks fantasizing about what most of these shooters actually do. Instead of shouting people down....the deal is now to shoot them down. Some of these public "commentators" and "web creators" have a lot to answer for.... Fortunately, we have the Trump Administration - to tamp down the rhetoric, heal the wounds and set a better tone. 😒

When, back in the day..... "Compassionate Conservatism" didn't get any traction......the Republicans over time, have just completely gone in the other direction...... with this current bigoted, xenophobic, dog whistling, nationalism. Trump attracts alt-right types like flies - and the people in the GOP, who should know better.....have turned themselves into simply lapdogs, spear carriers, and lackeys for someone (Trump) who is indifferent to them, when not actually holding them in contempt.

About what I expected. Given the many more Democratic seats in the Senate in play, a lot of more rural states, with 10 that Trump won, last election.........any gains for Dems there, was a real long shot, from the get go.... The more diverse urban areas and suburbia, with the House seats, worked out far better for Democrats , the women turnout and votes, was a big factor as well, with a lot of new women House members, now.

Getting the Mueller report and spinning related investigations off of that, would be a start.

So, can Cruz go back to calling Trump names again, now?

Trump has thrown a lot of House candidates over the side, ignoring the economic argument, and pumping up the racist, xenophobic fear factor.....just to pander to his base and prop up the Red firewall in the Senate. Be interesting to see exactly which House members go down. Between that, and taking some expected hits in the Governorship's, as well....... there will be plenty of unhappy Republicans tomorrow. Watching Trump take a victory lap, (as of course he will) over holding the Senate - and deflecting any blame.....will not make them any happier either. The prospect of Mueller's report and the House Democrats with subpoena powers, will not ease their indigestion.....

Perhaps there is really something to this reverse psychology stuff.....

Bombers shutout win was a pure fluke. Just hope we can go up there and make things respectable. Harris is aging, and almost washed up, and our O in general, will quake before the Rider Green Wall on D. None of MOS's cheap gimmicks will save us. Lapo will be packing his bags at half-time. Our D is overrated and without Poop and Hurl, has taken a giant step backwards. Medlock is overpaid, and Nichols is strictly a scrub. I hope the right people are reading this....
