  1. Great guy, but looking at his Bomber numbers......questionable as HOF.
  2. Both Nevis and Johnson looked pretty quick, in the X game. Entire D looked quick.
  3. So, as I understand it....you will be bringing pure logic to this particular site? Fascinating.
  4. So, an improved club, that won 12 games last year isn't on the radar? Fine. There will be ample opportunities, to watch some people eat it.....
  5. We have done that for years......then in crunchtime (injuries) throwing in a guy, not even really knowing if he can ball
  6. Looking at tube on Streveler....can certainly see he has some tools, passing and running the ball. The deal was that he was supposedly too raw experience wise.....and that Ross had it. Unfortunately, it looked more like a Brohm experience, with Ross, last nite. He won't survive another showing like that. Streveler, on the other hand, did a lot of what the coaches like to see....going through his progressions, checkoffs and looking pretty poised, over all.
  7. Edmonton's OL was getting pulped, even after the usual suspects departed.....
  8. 1. Multiple weapons on O 2. Depth and team speed on D 4. Only 5 penalties in an X game
  9. Bowman could have a huge year in this offense. He really can find the holes in the zone, and use that big body to shield DB's. Throwing the ole Lapo hooks, and slants to this guy will produce way more first downs, than last year.
  10. First Eskimo touch.....Robinson guy runs back punt 95 yds for TD...... Nichols getting some pressure and pops, early....... Randle fights receiver for ball...Clarke guy grabs INT..... Harris takes screen and rips a run, for a couple of first downs.... Nichols then hits Bowman in end zone, for 15 yd TD pass Zach Cline come in to QB the Esks.....sacked on first snap.... ..then chucks up 50 yd sideline pass.... D. Adams draws long PI call for about 50 yards..... Bowman can sure find his way open against zone D.... Medlock makes it 10-7 Robinson not getting much ground, since his TD return...... Jake Thomas flushes QB out of pocket.....Opo gets the sack Thomas then clobbers Cline, who scrambled out of the pocket.... Nichols overthrows Bowman couple of times..... One which turns into an INT, with a long return.... ...but Bowman will be a key component of this O. Cline looking shaky, since the Thomas hit...... Taking a sack from Roh....doesn't help Constant pass rush from the Blue D.... AJ Coney returns a missed FG 65 yards..... Demski catches his 1st as a Bomber..... ...then draws a PI call.... Medlock 45 yds, into the wind...makes 13-7 ...but game really more lopsided than that.. Esks doing nothing on O....their OL getting killed.... Nichols departs....enter Alex Ross.... ...who looks a little nervous in the service.... Danny O'Brian guy now the QB for Esks....... Chris Streveler now at the controls for the Blue. ....hits Wolitarsky for first down, then Adams... Ach du Lieber! Augustine bust up the gut 17 yds for TD.. 20-10....score starting to look....more like it. Opo and Roh, still bringing pressure... Ross rushing things a bit....couple of bad under throws... 2nd half....need to really peruse that ole roster sheet.... Streveler starts 2nd half at QB...scrambles for first down. Simonise makes good leaping catch. The toss/sweep running plays.....could use some work.. Menard-Briere guy makes it 23-10. Two scoring drives for Streveler. Announced crowd of 23,034. Nice try. Streveler throws it up for White, who wins jump ball... ...then turns on the burners and goes 85 yds for the TD Streveler is 7 for 7 and has put 17 points up on the board Thought Ross was supposed to be the experienced guy? Doesn't matter which QB in for Esks....they are all getting the bum's rush. Augustine still running hard.....guy has some pop. Even with reserves in....Bomber D shows plenty of speed... 2nd string officials have some problems with ball placement.... 2nd string scoreboard person...gives Esks a Bomber punt single.. At this point, Eskimo OL holding and tackling, all over the place.. Streveler has nice run up the middle...but doesn't protect ball - fumble. Bomber backup OL doing pretty good work on the run game. Everybody else getting pressure...so Trent Corney gets in on the act.. RB Thomas has some pretty good wheels... Now DE Sam Montgomery make a couple of plays.... Menard-Briere hits a low liner to make it 33-13. This O&S is a bit bigger that I anticipated... So is the gin.
  11. Nichols may be still a scrub in the eyes of some.....but he is our scrub.
  12. Kills me to miss this historic and momentous occasion, except I have this damn Bomber game to go to.....
  13. Well, along with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Trump, D’Souza was one of the main promoters of the conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was ineligible to serve as president because he was born outside the U.S. In other words, Trump's kinda people....
  14. #Rememberfredhadley
  15. Want to know Do we have a legit backup QB? Can the Canuck receivers make the jump from potential to production? How are we going use the hybrid O formations this year (Flanders, Demski, etc)? Have Fogg and Walker learned how to tackle? Are these touted import receivers for real? Will I make it up the ramp?
  16. SPYGATE! BIGGER THAN WATERGATE!! MORE DEEP STATE CONSPIRACY!! Catchy stuff, alright..... so I took a closer look at this "spy in question - Stefan A. Halper. Turns out that Mr. Halper is a lifelong registered Republican, who worked for the Nixon administration.....and the Ford administration......and the Reagan administration. He also had a role in George H.W. Bush’s campaign. In fact, in all this time, it seems that the only sinister thing Mr. Halper has ever been accused of .....was spying on President Jimmy Carter’s 1980 campaign for Reagan!! But of course around the web, Trumpalcoholics are bellowing about this latest proof - that all Federal law enforcement and justice entities, are totally corrupt and are filled with Soros-funded, Deep State swamp criminals. With Trump as the victim. Uranium One, Obama's phone tapping, "unmasking", the Nunes Memo, etc, etc.....and now Mueller is somehow "meddling" with the mid-term elections! Even with the BS meter totally redlining, by now.......it simply does not matter. Because In a couple of weeks, Trump will unveil some new "outrage" for his base to gorge on. Evidence? Proof? Who needs that? As Steven Miller asserts "The President is not to be questioned." Well, at least by non-critical thinkers, anyways.
  17. Well, I remember that guy, whats his name, and all those other fellas...
  18. Not being afraid of blitz packages, would be a bonus....
  19. ...a faint one...
  20. Couldn't fight through traffic, and had people run through his tackles, as well. Some folks may still have no idea, what a gigantic upgrade Bighill is....
  21. Riders (Jones) getting way too cute with this DC thing. As others have noted, Rider depth in some areas, may be questionable. Not sold on that OL, and they will need to keep Hurl off the field, as far as starting. If ZC does not bounce back....could be some heavy sledding there....
  22. Preseason matters......you have to get the new horseflesh in there, and find out who really gets it done, when the footballs are flying and the pads a-popping. You have to be looking to upgrade positions, every year regardless of record. Take myself....after all this time, I don't just sit on my laurels. Gin shelf is always being restocked.
  23. My god, we are well nigh unbeatable. This calls for gin...
  24. Infuriating the Rider fan base would be a bonus, as well
