Saw with mine eyes....Brock throwing the ball to guys in the end zone....from midfield on his knees, during practice... He would throw the usual 10 yd out pattern, another 10 - 15 yards further down the field - the dam ball still got to the receiver, BEFORE the DB could make his break for the ball..... In shorts and T-shirt.... the dude had a better build than most linebackers. Dieter could/would stand in the pocket until the last nanosecond, and take hit after hit. Knocked out Tommy Scott, who was not looking for the ball on a short slant, and had it smack him in the head.. As far as the Rams thing, they weren't really interested in Brock throwing down field....just having him handing it off to Eric Dickerson Was told (unconfirmed) that some fan got it on with him in a Montreal watering hole......and was severely injured for his efforts. People talk about Mike Bishop or some others. Forget it. Brock had the strongest arm I ever saw.

Pretty rough stuff..... I was thinking more along the lines of a utterly merciless beat down.... followed up with backing up a freight train over them.

Bottom line is that any fan, of any team in this league ....can go back into the memory bank....and recall a fair sampling of absolute egregious travesties of officiating. The deal is understanding it for what it is ...with perhaps a little whining, crying, or moaning into the mix ....as opposed to becoming totally paranoiac and deflective about it. A certain segment of Rider fans have chosen the latter path of denial..... frantically looking at the league hierarchy, or in their closets or under their beds. After all, it cannot be the Republic of Jones or any one else in the Rider brain trust, who is responsible. It simply has to be some mythical bogey men, planning some form of conspiracy or skullduggery....to drag down the proclaimed greatest franchise and fan base in the league. So goes that narrative. The Riders have a devoted and passionate fan base, who deserves all kinds of credit, for the way they support their team. But one wonders how embarrassed some of the more sane Riders fans are becoming.... listening to their brethren spewing out terms like rigged, dishonest, sham, crooked, etc....to explain their team's record. Anyone with half a brain, and who has watched officiating in the CFL, for any length of time, knows better than to mistake obvious incompetence for some sort of hidden agenda or conspiracy.

Conspirators must be punished....

Let there be chaos.....release the hounds.....want the Riders to walk into a madhouse.....then slowly crawl out, 3 hours later...

Two very questionable 3rd down gambles that failed Two blown challenges Gave up the wind, with the 2nd half choice "working the officials" - non-stop Jones did his part, in that Rider loss. Watching a number of Rider games....his in-game decision making has been questionable, all year.

Riders had Harris upright, with clock still running. One of our OL came over and knocked him down. Unsung hero.

We were sloppy on both sides of the ball, Our D played its worst game in 6 weeks ....we forgot about Harris down deep....but were still up 16 points, before going into "playsafe" mode far too early. Still won. No reason we cannot blow these guys out at the BB.
