Surround a rook head coach with veteran OC/DC. Sound idea....unfortunately that ended up with the Bombers "playing safe" and spinning recycled trash in Marcel and Etch Still stuck with Marcel, for that matter. Walters stays.....have MOS return with a new OC and a ST coach, he can delegate stuff to ......and see how that goes. At lot of decisons will have to be made about our identity on O, as well - other than say running shotgun packages, with a C who can't make the snap...or having every run play look like some form of a stretch play. New OC is a must.

Hay is already out of the barn on that game. The deal will be how Lirim responds to this........fall apart and continue to miss kicks?...... or just pull himself together and play up to potential (ie last year).

Stoudermire bursts 80 yds for TD on punt return ....Esks get it right back with long bomb on Bucknor ...after too many men penalty ..keeps Eskimo drive alive Bomber initial first down, draws generous applause.... ...21 minutes into the game..... Some excellent punting from Hajrullahu..... ...but the placekicking....man oh man oh man ... 1-5 with a missed convert, to boot...... Demond Washington had a rough game..... Jamaal Westerman is consistent....as in excellent.... Sold games from Bass and Turner...... But Johnny Adams had a monster game..... ...pick, couple of knockdowns and mucho tackles..... 13-7 at half.,..Bombers with 54 yds of O... Nichols taking a serious licking... ..but keeps ticking in 2nd half ....figuring out the Jones zone D...for around 300 yds... Surprisingly good pass pro from Bomber OL Moore bounces back with good 2nd half... Denmark made some plays.... Chevon Walker is a just waste of space...... ...the next tackle he breaks...will be his first.... Neufeld went out (again)...did not come back.... Bombers down 21-20 late..... ...Kohlert converts 3rd down pass, by inches..... ...but the replay calls incomplete pass - game over. O'Shea plays his last card...challenge for PI.... ....and gets it! But looking at replay...you might call it.... ...Unofficial CFL Apology Call L.H. trots out for 45 yd attempt...after missing his first 4... ...and puts it right down the pipe! Bombers up 23-21 Game over? Still minute and half left...... Washington can't sack Reilly in backfield.... ...couple of completions later......Sean Whyte comes on... 53 attempt into the wind....goes just over the bar.... 24-23......Edmonton Bombers will probably not make the playoffs ...but lead league in moral victories.... Aside from the 3rd quarter, I thought Marcel called a decent game last night. ...and the first 13 minutes of the 4th.......

Khalil Bass is as good a D player as anyone in this league...... Strong game from Demond Washington.... Westerman still brings the pass rush..... Some nice punts by Hajrullahu..... Huge game for Stamps from Marquay McDaniel Stamps start to pull away..... ...get a forced out catch ruling, on 2nd down ...on a rule that didn't exist... in the last home game ...and proceed to finish off 80 yd drive with TD.....21-14 Calgary... The Invisible Man....otherwise known as Clarence Denmark... ....finally runs deep downfield for a pass..... ...and gets called for offensive PI..... Eric Rodgers makes circus catch, in double coverage... ....or not. 25-14 Calgary....2 minutes to go.... Stoudermire returns punt for 40 yds..... Kohlert wide open for TD pass..... Marshall slam in 2 point convert......now 25-22 Blue D gets the 2 and out......Bombers get ball on own 50.... Tthird and less than a yard, Nichols gets first down..... ...but Bombers called for illegal formation....NO END... ...forcing 50 yd tying FG attempt into the wind..... Hajrullahu pushes it wide right....... Stamps inch out of town with the win...... Bombers inch closer to irrelevance..... Lots of controversy about that formation call..... But then again..Blue would of probably found some way to lose the OT.... Because that is what they do...... I always find some way to drink the gin.... ...for much the same reason..

Losing can actually become an art form......we are pretty well there......

Take them one at a time.......this game is a must for standings and fan interest....

Like Pavlov's dog......when I unscrew a gin, can visualize Blue Bombers...... ....or, more likely, the other way round...
