Brohm did nothing last year, nothing in the x-season, and nothing, coming in this year.....anybody see a trend here? Does MOS?

As soon as the Willy went down....Bomber went flaccid.... The rain then stopped.... so did our team.... ...Drew hit low...league apology coming, after the fact... Bombers deal with the adversity...in the usual manner... ...allowing a long punt return, followed by TD.... Brohn, to the surprise of everybody comes in..... ..and promptly tosses a pick, albeit, with blown PI call.... James Franklin promptly throws a TD pass to Bowman.... Richards then plays trained seal with a pass....for another pick.. ....setting up another easy Franklin TD pass Bell eludes 3 Bomber tackles for 70 yards.... ...setting up, you guessed it, yet another Franklin TD pass... Brohm's TD/INT ratio? now 0-5....... Assume that Marve is still hurt....or there will be blood.... 28 straight points for Edmonton, after Willy down.... Give up 3 TD passes to the 3rd string guy...in less than a half... Discipline problem again...plethora of dumb penalties.... Refs were pretty bad....but Bombers lost on merit.... Another great Western road swing..... Blow one game....get blown out, in the other..... Tackling on D, fell off in 2nd half.... Another key special team breakdown, then INTs... ...giving Esks a short field for easy scores.... Blue tired of the beat downs, in Edmonton?......guess not. From MOS, on down....having real doubts about coaching....' Team lacks jam, and may simply be toast.... DOD lacks patience, right now.. and may simply be burnt....

No real need for the 3rd and 4 gamble......when BC has the ball at midfield, with a 11 point lead. Dumb call.

Yes, but Taman, throughout his career..... has always seemed to have some form of big daddy around......who was supposedly the real culprit to blame. 10 years in, you can only play the victim card, so many times......

If nothing else, the Moes D will come hard and often. The deal is to put in a O package to actually make them pay for it. This is sort of a rubber meets road game for the Bombers. Slinking back home, from yet another 0-fer western swing and on a new losing streak, would seem in many peoples eyes, regression..... Limiting the mistakes that cost us the Stamps game, would be a good start.

Reassuring..... to find out that what I though were endemic problems, during Lapo's tenure, like: Brutally slow starts Penalties galore Lack of adjustments Uber-conservative game planning Clock management issues Culture of lack of accountablity/excuses (from players) Were merely figments of my imagination...... So, I assume that Lapo, like Taman, or for that matter Burke...... was merely another sort of helpless "victim", or something? Paul should simply stay out another year, and attain all-star coaching status......

I was always adamant the Bombers "signatures" were the worst... but I never really got a good look at those water-melon specials... after watching some of that Rider game, I'm starting to reconsider... Still think that our Argo ripoff, special forces, bird dropping look.....still has the edge. "Signature" implies a unique and quality look. Instead we got unique and embarrassing.

Darryl Rogers was, is and remains.....a garbage coach. Knew nothing about the CFL, didn't care....and didn't want to learn

Can remember spilling gin, all over my shirt, on multiple occasions....when the Bombers finally won the cup.....in 84. Then we had 88...and 90... Who knew....that all the gin in the world would not quench the raging thirst, since then.

Could be worse..... The Bomber board took assistant coach of special teams, Jeff Reinebold and made him HC and GM. Lyle Bauer took another assistant (Mike Kelly) and...... Gawd, can go no farther....

Real good teams don't beat themselves......

I post during the first few hours, after yet another tough loss.....but then I am made of sterner stuff......damn O+S burdens me with obligation.....

Taman pumpin in that fresh blood.... Riders robbed Peter (for home grey cup year ).....now they have to pay Paul.....

Progress is being made.....but mentally, things need to get shaper.

For the Riders...tough deal to be built to "win now".....and yet not win.

First the 18 year drought.....and now this current one. At this stage, taking any sort of satisfaction in a "moral victory"....is immoral.

This team is 2-2 and has improved in some areas. The overall effort and intensity is good....... But the Bombers just have to be sharper at the mental aspect, as a team...period. Completely falling apart against Hamilton, when Willy went down.....and blowing the winnable game against the Stamps, with a myriad of mistakes....might suggest we have some ways to go. The game against the Esks, is going to tell us quite a bit, about where we really are......

Well our kicker and kick returner were supposed to be strengths, going into this game.....

Bottom line......we let a perfectly winnable game go down the tubes, though some pretty dumb football....also considering the Hamilton game, mentally, this team has a ways to go....

After a Bomber victory.....goodly amount of gin..... After this sort of a loss....copious amount of gin.... Consistency is the key....
