Bomber O moved the ball in the middle of the field.... .....but things came crashing to a halt, in red zone.... Missed a lot of 2nd down conversions..... Bomber run game struggled tonight..... Cotton gave the effort and did some hard plowing...... ...but got planted, a number of times..... Long corner patterns to Denmark..... ...and short balls to Moore...Bomber pass O staples.... Kolhert did his thing....steady player... Meanwhile... D. Adams still imitating Maytag repair man.... Some of the run plays are too slow to develop.... Cato gave up a couple of picks....costing the Als 10 pts.... ...but showed poise and accuracy from the pocket.... If he keeps this up, Montreal will be tough..... .with veteran play makers on O, and very tough front 7 on D.... Sutton runs hard...but some tackles not made.... Liam H. has some kind of phobia, about the extra point.... ...but was 3 for 3 on FG's and punted very well....... Huge tipping point with 17 sec left in 1st half... ...as a Shell punt block and Sherman recovery.... ...gave the Bombers a huge TD..... Als Bowman is still a top player in the league..... Hefney had some hard hits, for the Als Montreal is a physical team....and Bombers brought their wood... ....real hard hitting, tough grinding game..... ...when you just need to find a way...... ...especially when you don't score a TD on offense.... Montreal's 4 turnovers and Blue's O.. was probably that way..... Huge hustle plays from Johnson, Leggett, Bucknor, Sherman... Still too many penalties, taken by Bombers... Still too many penalties in these games Flag fests are really slowing down things.... Sometimes you just can't get the style points...just the win.. Other times you just can't get the fancy label...just the gin..

While he might provide a bit of a spark .. Veltung has acquitted himself nicely so far in the return game. I heard that! After his first 2 returns.......Ham. kept kicking the ball to Marshall on the KO's anyways....

Lazy and and a sense of entitlement.....have had better and more incisive reporting....from some posters on this site. Good reporters do not need to be spoon fed stuff from the coach, or wait until something thrown up...finally sticks to the wall. Or worry about being just another lame Twitter clown... They follow the team closely, they observe, they analyze, and with any luck..... communicate actual, relevant information, to the fans, with a modicum of wit or style. Of course, that is simply.....asking the moon, from this crew.

Well, Cato is in only his 2nd start as a pro.....it is up to us to make him look like a rookie. Hall has to find a way to get some heat and different looks on this guy. We also need a better job in the trenches. Given Hall's experience and the "projected" improvement of our new guys on D, no reason why this should not be possible.

Willy is simply our meal ticket. We can win if he stays upright (as opposed to like 60 sacks last year) Marcel better burn the midnight oil figuring out how to provide the needed protection.

Never saw a D yet, that wasn't somewhat predicated on getting pressure from the defensive line. Looking at Anderson, Turner and Westerman......if these guys get into gear...this D could get a lot better quickly....

Bottom line....opposing team amped up pass pressure....and our offense simply fell apart - just as it did many times last year. MB has been around in this league for a while - and there are plays that can make the other team pay, on this big ole CFL field. Enough excuses, already....

I think the more frustrating part was that Brohm had him on 2 deep balls... which were promptly under-thrown Apparently if you don't have first team offense reps it automatically weakens your arm by 35% leaving you unable to throw a deep ball! With the backup QB, You also automatically lose 66% of the ability to pick up the blitz.
