Certain entertainment value.....particularly these days....
-
Inhaling the arrogance gas? Please spare me the ole football purist routine.....plenty of us are aware of your ongoing agenda over at RF..... Khan? Nice guy but he didn't have any gas in the tank...the LAST go round....
-
What was missing.... was more than 6 rush attempts....and using the flats. We let Montreal D dictate the game, somewhat and the middle of our OL got pushed around, for a fair bit, that game....
-
Bashing on Howard, overlooks the point, that the entire middle of the OL....did not play very well. Pretty sure this staff understands, that we have to do a better job of protecting Willy....because this OB will get it done for us....if he gets an even chance...
-
Well, we have 3 TD's on D and a KOR TD....in three games. We also made the big plays in late crunchtime, to win a couple of games..... Not really used to either....
-
Well, color me impressed.....Willy took 3 big shots on that final drive, didn't flinch one iota....and won us that game.
-
No problem with looking at another LB, at this stage.....
-
Oh, forgot....Milo's kickoffs are absurd
-
Sample Rod Black playcalling: "LOOK AT THIS PASS!!!.... just overthrown a bit" "WHITAKER....SLASHING!....and has 2 yards"
-
Yah, the coach is taking heat, but: Some vets in Rider OL not getting it done Lost a lot of O firepower (Dressler, Sheets) that has not been replaced Ton of mental mistakes by non-rooks... Linebacking, talentwise...not good enough... Plethora of missed tackles, the real bad variety, the last couple of weeks... If CC benched everyone who screwed up, last night ....Riders would look like basketball team Receiving corps is very thin.... Cakewalk against bad team (Hamilton) mentally set these guys up for some fail....
-
Riders have problems......kicking, run D, particularly at linebacker, dumb penalties....and their receiving corps doesn't scare anyone.
-
First time game plan looked questionable. ...OL looked like 2013....

A real pro....in a sea of Joes -
6 touches for Grisgby? Absurd...
-
A game that normally we lose.......but a QB that wins it for us. Clutch plays under duress. 2 games now where Willy comes through in the last 2 minutes....
-
Running game will be crucial tonight: For Bombers - if Grigsby gets it going early, it will negate some of the Als pass rush, as well as set up play action, with Willy. For Als - just not convinced that Smith can beat us throwing lots of passes, sitting in the pocket.....Montreal needs to negate our rush, and have Smith on the move, as well.
-
That guy looks like you if you took off your glasses and shaved your head. Never would of thought, that Mike Kelly had a background in soccer......
-
If we get Grigsby involved early....to slow up the pass rush...Willy can get it done - we have more weapons on O, that the Als. Can't see Smith beating us, throwing from the pocket. If we stuff their run game, things will be fine...
-
Pushing particular agendas....can lead to pretty bad stuff, as well...
-
Juvenille and plain silly themes, executed in somewhat poor taste..... Good job.

If I was the Higg......wouldn't sign any long leases or anything..... -
Ottawa at Edmonton Redblacks play a pretty physical style, their OL/DL are actually pretty good.... Burris is always dangerous. Eskies physical pressure D, has keyed both of their wins, but not a lot of tools on O. Expect a lot of head banging, with kicking and turnovers being the difference. Hunching over, a bit...to reach my gin.....and taking Ottawa..... by 3. Calgary at Toronto Argos regained their mojo last week, against the Riders, but loss of Durie will hamper their dump and run game. Stamps will not have Cornish to be the security blanket, for BLM, who is still a somewhat inexperienced QB. Giving the edge to the established Ricardo, in this one......Argos by 7 BC at Sask Thought of some ways, that this might not be a blowout....but none of them really work. Only thing worse that your QB struggling.... (Glenn).... is surrounding him with next to nothing, in the first place. BC D is not good enough to overcome that, right now. Riders will be locked and stocked at home, with a big advantage along the LOS.........Try the jolly green ones by....17.

After years (and I mean years) of crying out for a change in the culture, round here....I am most pleased, so far.... with the improved attitude, sense of purpose, and firm direction, emitting from O'Shea. He wants men who can tie their own shoes, wipe their own noses, and get on with the business, in a professional manner.....otherwise they just won't play here. Perhaps, FINALLY.... the longstanding culture of excuses, and the coddling of malcontents.....is over.. ps..... was back down in TO, not long after MOS was hired.....EVERY single person I spoke to ... was singing from the same songbook.... about the outstanding character and dedication of Mike O'Shea. Now the Blue may still have their ups and downs on the field this season - but a real head coach (and a QB, for that matter) is more than half the battle.... The arrow is pointing up......

It's early for a GIF thread. Lol. The one on the right is almost as scary as the one on the left.....
