Christ, I lived through all that.....as well as the Joe Zaleski era. And man, some of those other coaches...... Darryl Rogers - arrogant fool who drove 2 teams in different leagues, right into the ground (Bombers, Detroit Lions) Jim Daley - wonderful guy, who as a "defensive specialist" coached some Bomber D's to historical records. As in all-time CFL bad. Mike Kelly - uber-arrogant guy who had some serious behavioural issues, while certainly not re-inventing the game of football. Tim Burke - obvious that right from the get go, he had no bloody clue. Throwing players under the bus, couldn't bail him out. Comparatively, a guy like Zaleski gets some pass from me...as those teams simply had NO TALENT, period.

Yup. Looks like Bombers have managed to take Wolt who looked like a capable inside guy and have converted him into a total waste of space.

With Harris back.....play action should be more effective, if used more often. We are certainly not spreading out the opposing D, and making use of the full field, in the passing game. The screen game needs some work. Not sure what Buck is drawing up on the game plan, just yet. These short throws to try and get somebody in open space.....have to be done much quicker. Add those slow developing screens......and the overall tempo on O......is slow...

Zac did more than enough......his receivers are not doing him any favors out there.

Zac throwing the ball well….but needs more help. on 3rd and 1..Stamps pull punt off the field…. ….then throws deep and complete….but Huff fumbles… …Bighill picks it up…takes it to the Stamp 50 Drive stalls…Lieggho lines up for 50 yd attempt – Good! Carey eludes two Bombers around the end for 15 Maier has the fullback wide open for yet another completion.. Stamp backfield movement has Blue D somewhat befuddled… Carey pops up the middle for 17 yd TD run..13-9 Stamps what has happened to our great run D? Nelson takes KR…starts, stops, starts….and is buried….. Zac misses long, hits Bailey on 2nd down….Zac long incomplete to Adams… ….another 2nd down completion to Bailey in tight coverage… Zac incomplete…but takes head shot. 15 yds roughing. Harris 2nd run falls short.. Leggo trots out to try go-ahead FG with 55 seconds left……. It’s wide! But whistle on the snap. Bombers 10 yd time count violation! So now….a 46 yard try. It is long enough….and…right…down…the…middle!! 18-16 Bombers. Stamp returner falls on 20 yd line. 32 seconds left. Maier hits Jordan……who makes great catch in double coverage Stamp receiver drops ball in the flat. Maier hits hook pass for 10 Times up. Paredes lines up 52 yard game winner……and it’s short!!! Bombers pull it out 18-16. 3 and 1. But plenty to improve on…. Still shaking……not sure if it is from the game. Or this gin.
