  1. Yeah unfortunately when the game was on the line he made some not so accurate throws and they lost. So there's that
  2. Maier in a groove tonight
  3. It's amazing how competent QBs can look when the team is good. Calgary has fallen a ways...
  4. If Zach doesn't win MOP it will be Brady Oliveira. Unfortunately for him there's just too many good pass catchers on this team that Zach isn't not going to put up insane numbers.
  5. Great dub by a flawed roster
  6. No. That was me. I thought we were posting our own tweets. I even made it special for MB 😂
  7. I would be okay with modifications to the rules around the operations cap. IMO you should be able to fire your coaching staff and clear the cap. At least most of it.
  8. Yeah what they needed to do to keep Calgary on their heels in the passing game was complete the deep ball. We didn't get much of that at all and I'd imagine the wind/weather played a part in that. Allowed the Calgary DBs to make a lot of plays in front of them. Calgary completed a few chuck and pray balls. Props to them. But those often go the other way against our DBs. Overall Im mostly disappointed in Brown because he threw a couple right into the hands of Calgary DBs and we were fortunate enough they dropped them. Not a good game for Brown but could have been worse.
  9. Kyrie Wilson just about back to his old self. Good game by him. Holm solid. God awful penalty called on him. Brady is getting good running lanes but he's also getting much better anticipating the holes.
  10. Disagree. We are tied for first in the west. We want to be first, not 2nd. This team will put their starting QB in if it's safe to do so. Every game matters.
  11. Hefney sliding in the best part
  12. In my mind Zach is 75 percent for this Fridays game. Mostly because I think it would take a lot to keep him out.
  13. During their Canadian air force era (getzlaf, bagg et al) they were constantly offside. They still do it a tonne. They would be the last team that should be complaining.
  14. Yep. Sounded like excuses to me. Elks had a miraculous start. Props to them for shooting themselves out of a cannon to begin the game. Part of that is the Bombers making some questionable defensive play calls. But part was the Elks offensive line having a tonne of energy. Fact of the matter is that they couldn't sustain that level. And eventually the Bomber D matched and surpassed their intensity and blew them out of the water. We essentially spotted them 3 easy TDs that game. The rest of the game was controlled by the much better team.
  15. Not sure if this has been talked about... But did anyone else hate the call by Richie Hall to blitz everyone when the Elks were still in their own end? We have all of the momentum. We seemingly have Tre Ford figured out. And then you call something risky like that? Bleh. Got them to 29 points
  16. Can we nickname Dru Brown "The Magician"? The way he misdirects on the handoffs, his ability to escape the pocket and make great throws on the run. It's his stage and I'm here for it.
  17. I have faith that the current contingent of linebackers will keep Tre Ford from making too many big plays.
  18. This is likely as healthy as the team will be all year. Interesting to see who starts and who sits
  19. One year we sat on the west side and it was unbearable how many people complained about play calls and clearly did not know anything. Crotchety old whiners. My friend got hit in the back by an old coot that didn't like us making noise on defense. 207 here.
  20. You win a couple pizza derbys and it goes to your head
  21. Prob. Unless Lawler finally comes back. Please please please
  22. Schoen has that uncanny ability to pull away deep in his route or shield away the DB. Also really good at adjusting. I don't really consider him a jump ball guy. When Lawler comes back he has more of that to his game. But yeah without him I think Agudosi is the only one.
  23. I knew Vaj was streaky. But those 6 interceptions goes beyond skill. I honestly wonder if he's color blind and can't see that baby blue. He was throwing it directly to Argos
  24. If we had Lawler at the end of last year we'd be talking about a 4peet. He's a game breaking receiver
