  1. Him being a goto receiver for Zach has had negative consequences too. Fumbles and interceptions when he's been the guy. I wouldn't say defenses necessarily have been worried about him. I don't think we should bench Demski but I think we can get a lot of production once Lawler is in for Johnson. Use Demski as more of an Andre Durie type. He will get his snaps. Have Bailey on the field is going to make everybody else better. Also our ratio doesn't matter. We start a million Canadians already.
  2. I'd be tempted to put Bailey in for Demski at this point. He runs the sweeps a lot better. He run blocks better. He pass blocks better. He doesn't fumble the ball. He makes catches in the hard areas. He can make deep contested catches as much as Demski. I don't really see the downside.
  3. He tries to do big hits all the time. He just sucks now. Still thinks he can lay guys out but usually it's him falling over/bouncing off and giving up big gains
  4. It's becoming way too commonplace that Collaros + Demski = turnover. This is partly because of Zach's locking on to his guy and partly because Demski has terrible ball management and isn't 6'5" like Collaros thinks he is.
  5. I don't think he's completely wrong but this is an appeal to an authority and honestly an authority that gives a lot of bad takes.
  6. He hasn't produced much because he's been injured. I agree that it's kind of crazy he's stuck around for so long. There must be something there. He was touted as the better option at safety over Ni Hallett
  7. Are you looking forward to seeing his ass making plays?
  8. And Lawson was expected to be "the guy" this year. Not Thomas.
  9. Case was IMO the second best returner in TC but also one of those guys I could see being a very good CFL receiver. Maybe they intend to platoon him with Josh Johnson a few times. I'm very excited to see what Case can do... But I dunno, I think I'd rather have Chris Smith as our primary returner. Tony Jones in the lineup tells me they want a bit more depth in the front 7 with Patterson running around back there.
  10. Could be a nice matchup if Garbutt is back to full power and ready to go.
  11. Parker at SAM is intriguing for sure
  12. I think this would only be a good idea from time to time. Smith is going to get the majority of kick returns even if Lucky is on the field. Augustine will run and block and he's not expected to be on offense the next play. If we need a spark they can do one of those plays where they reverse field or fake handoff to Lucky.
  13. O'Shea said this was the best receiver crop they've brought into camp. Maybe we're starting to see that. Not everyone can be a Dalton Schoen and start producing from day 1.
  14. I agree they are really good...and at times they are relied on to cover for way longer than they should be. They still have some work to do. But often the break in coverage is Kramdi or Alexander.
  15. Happy to say I was wrong about Collaros' ability to be successful behind this o line - to an extent anyways. He chose a new BFF receiver and that seemed to help a lot.
  16. Bro it was bound to happen with us kicking field goals from Grand Forks range..
  17. Literally no reason to think Collaros can succeed with this o line. He's seeing ghosts. He's getting killed. Our run game is non existent without Strev
  18. I'm going to get more fantasy points from last week's highlights than I'm going to get from this Montreal team today.
  19. Seems like the O-Line is gelling a bit more now and doing what it takes to protect the QB for the extra second. I can see Collaros having a good game this Friday. If he doesn't then I'm on the Collaros Is Cooked bandwagon.
  20. Offsetting penalties would have given us an opportunity for a first down and the league can't have that.
  21. Depth chart looks okay as far as depth at each position group. Sure, we're still a far reach from how good we could be...but at least the newer guys have had some games to get their feet under them. Josh Johnson and Ontaria Wilson have shown glimpses as to why they are in the starting lineup. Fayad has given our D-Line a boost and allowed Adams to play more of an inside role. All we need is a proper gameplan and for Strev to come out of the gate with some consistency and we could win this game.
