  1. I was another one. And yes I felt very gambly
  2. Toronto a complete team effort on that loss. They still suck. Hamilton top 3 team for sure. Sask will continue to suck until they can win. Being close in a game like that doesn't exactly mean much. Ottawa has beaten Calgary and Sask. Last year that would mean you are probably a top team. I am just not sure yet. Edmonton went full risk reward playing pass rush and BC couldn't respond. Fell behind and didn't want to run the ball. Their oline is not good. Edmonton is a veteran team that will be fighting for a top spot in the west Really hard to gauge after 2 weeks where teams are at... but just look at the standings.. That is the team you are right now
  3. Glad to hear that Kyrie is back practicing. Matthews should be back this week as well. Neufeld might be an expensive back up plan at this point (not a bad thing)
  4. The Outrageous Burger is still BC's MVP
  5. I went with the Esks. Mostly because I thought we handled BC pretty easily last week despite the score being somewhat close. Edmonton seems pretty good too and they're at home. Should be close though.
  6. Ah. Well I'd have to see what the other 9 catches looked like. The 2 long ones I'm thinking of the coverage was definitely there. Maybe he had a bad game. But generally I thought he was pretty good.
  7. Did that number just go up?
  8. I was only thinking about the long balls. You're going to have short stuff completed on you. The long ones it looked like he was in good position and the receiver made some plays, legally and illegally.
  9. Not far from the truth honestly. The ball was placed perfectly and Rhymes was definitely using his wingspan to gain space, whether you deem that legal or not.
  10. Henry will be fined for sure
  11. I've never cheered so hard for a rider TD. It was embarassing
  12. What a rollercoaster. I got my lock and my pick in the last minute of the game
  13. I thought it was very obvious
  14. Am I the only one who thought that was OPI? He got himself space to make that catch by extending his arm out against Marshall's shoulder. Otherwise he was in his hip pocket and he doesn't make that catch
  15. Here's my chance! Edit: noooo Edit 2: I've had so many chances Edit 3: he's short! Edit: FAJAAAAARDO I DID IT BOYS
  16. It was a cheap shot. He saw him coming a mile away and decided to lean into him because he knew he could hurt him, rather than try to get out of the way or protect him.
  17. I'm just waiting for Rider fans to "stop watching the cfl" because they are being targeted, and it's bush league, and not because they suck
  18. Lol yeah he probably should have been ejected. That was sneaky cheap
  19. Russ Michna had the best arm. He just didn't get enough opportunity to release the beast
  20. Looks like I've jinxed myself on fajardo. Still a half to go. Fajardo has made a couple nice throws but hasn't run one in
  21. Hahaha well see! It's all about those turnovers
  22. Yuuuuup. Probably a better week to pick Gable than last week. I was relying on Montreal being terrible. He caught a very tough pass for his TD. Against BC's run D it's a good pick. In the future though they will be passing the ball a tonne. We'll see what happens! For me it's the likelihood of Fajardo being the only one capable of getting in the endzone for the Riders (it's ironic though because he's a terrible passer), and just having fun with this little lock of the week game.
  23. I see everyone's getting on the Gable train I started last week. Anybody joining me on the Fajardo bus?
  24. I have Ottawa. Both teams are fairly similar as far as strengths/weaknesses. But Ottawa sadly has better quarterbacking. I could see it going the other way. Calgary's defense wet the bed. I don't see that happening with Sask.
  25. Arash Madani is an idiot and his arguments absolutely suck. But it really does come down to the CBA and the responsibilities of the CFLPA. Is anyone surprised he filed for an appeal? That's just how it works. As much as I like Ambrosie's passion for the league, he tends to treat it as his own personal plaything at times. That to me is a little concerning. His statement sounds childish. I like the thought that the appeal process could add games, but it's all about precedent. So it's kind of a catch 22. Precedent can't be made if the process doesn't allow for it. Guess both sides dropped the ball in the CBA talk. Id imagine nothing will change until the next CBA happens
