I meant for the duration of the game and then the league can decide suspensions. If the rule is based on QBs only, a team isn't going to pull their qb out of the game unless he's really hurt to try to get a defender kicked out. Coupled with the fact that they've already upgraded the penalty... It should be an auto ejection. Easy call. Other than that, I agree that there should be harsher penalties based on that kind of hit. I think 99 percent of people saw the intention there and the ref should too.

I absolutely agree with you. Intent to injure is the part that is subjective. Making it controversial. Making the defensive player that made head contact sit out for the same amount of time of the injured player is purely objective

I don't disagree but Roosevelt can be one of those guys that can take over a game. Same with Powell (maybe not with the oline but). If their defense can cause turnovers then I can definitely see it happening. Start of the year in the CFL, something unexpected is going to happen. I just have a feeling it might be this game.

I think the Riders may take it. Their starting roster is pretty good. Not sure the depth is there but it won't matter a lot in game 1. Everyone is assuming the Ticats will win the East and while that seems logical, I just have a feeling they won't be as good this year. Of course as a western division fan and regular Rider-hater I'm cheering for Hamilton.
