Did you post this after you saw the cuts? Lmao spot on take if not

We legitimately have 10 defensive linemen on the AR Fox, Adams, Thomas, Schmekel, Samson, Lawson, Garbutt, Jefferson, Woods, Haba. Lawson is for sure hurt. Garbutt probably too. Gotta think there's at least one other that's going to the IR. Thomas?

Jamal Woods. Now again, I was more focused on my beer than the game at times. I can see why they kept him. #91 was making a lot of plays out there. He's listed as a DT but I believe he was playing a lot of DE in the game. We will need that. We can't have 5 million defensive tackles.

Gauthier for game 1 makes sense. Heck, he's a decent enough player. 6 games in is when I would expect some of the rookies to get better acclamated. Then we will see. Gemmel was my pick for who stood out the most. I wonder if they take a look at Moses later when he's healthy. But otherwise I'm a bit surprised they didn't keep around Petrishen. And I don't really know anything about these global linebackers.

?? Dev roster? Is this new?

I think McGhee came into camp thinking he had to step up. Was looking into the backfield too often and got burnt. Coaches have likely seen enough of him that there's something there. 2nd year player has some experience in case the rooks falter

Sometimes the best DBs are the ones you don't really notice out there. I think that's what you get with Bonds and Bridges

LET MY PEOPLE GO

Overall there's a lot to be excited about with the team going into the season. Offensively this team was going to be good. Basically one receiver spot to fill and that's it. Defensively we had a bit more uncertainty and spots to fill. We now have so many options there for LB and DT/DE. The CB spot is the only one that I'm not confident in. We got burnt a tonne at that position. Special teams you can imagine there will be some improvement by going with some younger guys that can run. Chris Smith with a 109 yard return. Let's go.

Somewhat frustrating as a fan going to a home game and being presented with the 3rd string team as the starters. I'll start with that. But we kind of knew that going in. Calgary was still running Peyton Logan at the end of the game. So good for you Calgary. You won 😂. O'Shea says he doesn't like to lose, but just like the first preseason game, there was almost zero chance of winning given the roster. We tried running the ball but not with a lot of success. Our o-line was not opening up much. They were almost as bad in pass pro. Wilson didn't have much of chance tonight. Sure he hopped a couple but to me it didn't look like he had a lot of opportunity to make plays. Offensively we were offensive top to bottom. But again, we had almost nothing to work with. Defensively there was a lot to like. Adams, Gemmel, Fuller stood out to me. Jake Kelly was pretty good for the time he was in there. Not sure about Demetrius Ford. Seems like you guys were seeing something but to me always ended up not making the plays. Bill Hackett stood out to me as a very speedy guy, not that he was great either. Tre Thomas, not sure if he has the ability to play SAM. I don't think he's big enough to play the more traditional LB spots

Upper. Row 1. I was annoyed enough by the cable. My normal seats are row 8. Elite -
A sweep and your DT is making thst play. Dear god

Grainger has a cannon

My camera is my face but I'm more interested in drinking beer than watching what the receivers are running. Sorry

I sat in that first row for a game last year and I hated it. Can't imagine how bad it is now -
Wilson may not be pushing the ball downfield. But he has the ability. Just needs time. Looks good to me
-
Maybe they'll actually run the ball this week and give Chris Smith a chance to show his skills
-
I wonder if Darren Grainger is getting a reasonable opportunity to unseat Terry Wilson as the 3rd string QB going into the season. With Collaros and Strev out he should get his fair share of snaps.
-
No surprises there. Adams stands out as the guy that led our team in receiving yards in preseason. But that doesn't really mean much.
-
I think you'd have to be watching very closely to figure out who has the inside track to take that last receiver position. They are pretty much trying everyone. The other day it was Ronnie Blackmon

I guess Wilson has officially won the job as #3 (for the mean time). Now they have a new QB to start evaluating and taking reps. Interesting that the other adds are defensive linemen

Interview with Josh Johnson. Obviously not going to give much insight into his skills but he seems pretty excited to be here.
