Yep it is puzzling. He's been around, but so have a lot of guys. I was also pretty surprised by the announcement. Does he have a reputation for having an eye for talent or ability to negotiate well? He is pretty unspectacular as far as I can tell.
He did have that fumble return for a TD get called back, but I can't remember what the penalty was even for. Block to the back? Other than that he's been underwhelming, no doubt.
Like Joseph before him, Darian Durant always burns us for big runs, and is one of the most elusive QB's in the league. He can slip away from the best of them.
Finally the Bombers are getting some genuine respect around the league for a change. This feels like one of the best Bomber teams I've been around to see; nice to have the numbers to back it up.
Kenny Ploen was a surprising name on that list of QB's that have lost 12 straight. Probably the one and only time Collaros, Calvillo and Ploen will appear on the same list, though strange things do happen.
