  1. Whenever I think of the boat and need to calm myself down I like to watch the 2011 Eastern Division Final. I find it really helps me unwind and suppress the anger. Certainly one of the most memorable games I've attended. Garrett was a killer running back. I can't remember how he tore his achilles... I wish he could have gone on to play a lot longer.
  2. We should simply call him "The Predator"
  3. I also recall Mike Kelly's apparent trainwreck of a team finishing 1 win short of hosting a playoff game. It was a bad season, no doubt about it... but despite everything we were in the hunt til the end. I can hardly fault SPuDS for remaining optimistic throughout that nightmare. I was pretty boastful about our odds back then, too. Sask fans be warned, you can be blind to what's right in front of your face... I've been there myself.
  4. I'm at least as weird as you think I am lol.
  5. Do you know how many pots I've smoked since then?
  6. Nothing left to say but goodbye... so sad. RIP Chris Cornell.
  7. I honestly think a lot of those remarks, possibly even the entire thread, have since been deleted. I distinctly remember using the word 'schlemiel' in that thread, but that word exists nowhere in my own personal comment history. So... gbill's disappearance may have to remain the stuff of legend... like a downtrodden Amelia Earhart.
  8. The end zone seats can be pretty exciting when the play is in your end. I spent a season in the south end zone, front row, just above the play clock. Aaron Kelly caught a TD so close to me... we actually locked eyes and had a moment. I thought he was about to toss me the ball! No such luck though.
  9. No kidding! Just watched his 2016 highlight reel, he sure has wheels and can still chuck it on the run. Pretty poised too, standing in and taking hits to make tough throws. I love me some mobile QBs with strong arms.
  10. That's exactly who I thought of as I was reading everyone's descriptions of Boateng. Lattanzio might be more muscly but he's also 6'0 and not exceptionally fast... but still good enough to pick up 5 sacks and play teams with OTT last season. There is room on most defenses for Nationals like these.
  11. I wound up in section 203 instead of 201 this year. Pretty nice seats as far as sightlines are concerned and the price is right.
  12. Class of '02 represent!
  13. iHeart, I want you to go and stand in the sun for 10 minutes okay?
  14. That rings a bell... my parents were constantly winning stuff on those call in contests of his. They once made me sing the 'Turtles' chocolates jingle into the phone because each of them had already one once that week and so were ineligible to win again. I'd have been embarrassed but I honestly didn't know another person that listened to KY58
  15. I have vague memories of Don Percy purring and growling for my mom over the radio on her birthday. The early 90s sure were different
  16. Because it's an off season transaction by the Bombers.
  17. If I recall correctly he had a pretty decent game but got benched in favor of Shayon Green the following week and went on a twit-fit. That seems toxic and immature. Every guy wants to start but the ones that don't should suck up that bottom lip and be a team player.
  18. Oh? Is that what we are arguing about? I agree that it's not an important position on our team, further reinforcing my opinion that we already have they guy we need for the job and correctly opted not to use high value picks on receivers.
  19. My whole point is the teams that drafted WR in the top 5 needed National receivers because of retirements. I don't feel we have the same need. I feel we've got our guy already. Regardless of how bad Kohlert was last year.
  20. Found the guy that bought a Kohlert jersey. Jeez you'd think I dumped manure on his lawn. I was a huge Kohlert fan til he started to slip and now I think Feoli-G is the better option. Holy ****! Get out the lynchin rope. Settle down Sheldon.
  21. You're right, statistically. Do you remember Kohlert playing volleyball out there last season? Those don't show up on the stats sheet. Feoli-G was our best Canadian receiver last season, at least in terms of catching balls that are thrown at him.
  22. BC and EDM each had their top Canadian receivers in 2016 retire this past off season (Gore and Coehoorn, respecitvely). Our top Canadian receiver in 2016 (Feoli-G) is still on our roster.
  23. Also if you are bringing your kid to the games... please, for the love of all that is decent and good... don't dress him in green!
  24. Nicely done! I just emailed the ticket office about getting some Flex Pack seats up in corner of section 201. I recently started a new job just off campus and get to drive past the stadium every day... makes me all antsy in the pantsy. Can't wait for the season to start.
