BC hadn't given up a touchdown in the past 2 or 3 games coming into Winnipeg. We couldn't contain Lulay, but big plays by Matthews and Denmark kept the game alive. After the team's performance that week I really disagreed with the decision to fire Lapo. Thinking back on the post game interview... I think Lapo knew ahead of time that if he lost the game under any circumstance he would be fired, and that probably would have influenced him to play conservatively. Hopefully Lapo feels enough job security now to take some risks and play to win, start to finish.

Gord Downie Diagnosed With Terminal Brain Cancer
MOBomberFan replied to Rich's topic in General Discussion
Gord Downie is a rare talent. This is just awful news. I call myself a Hip fan, and it's true, but I know some guys that worship the Hip; they never miss a show, they know all the b-sides, and they'd probably fight anyone that talks **** about the Hip. I feel for Gord, the band, and all their fans. Grace, Too performed on Saturday Night Live: http://www.pinkbike.com/video/125904/ Also, **** cancer. -

I might be the only person on the planet, but I loved Moon Knight comics as a kid. Right after watching season 2 of Daredevil I said that the Moon Knight character would fit this new mould of TV superhero. I assume most people aren't very familiar with him... he had multiple personas that could make for some great storytelling. He was a soldier and heavyweight boxer turned mercenary, which afforded him a small fortune in time. He used his wealth to foster multiple identities... a taxi cab driver, a wealthy entrepreneur, and the silver shrouded super hero Moon Knight. He crosses over with the Punisher, Spider-Man, the X-Men... could be neat. I also heard that ABC has greenlit the production of a Cloak and Dagger mini-series... again, an opportunity to tell some decent stories. These guys were probably the first interracial couple in comics back in the 80s. Obviously not so controversial now, but it's nice to see studios looking for stories to tell rather than just flashy powers to put on full display.

No. That would mean one of them is a total dud.

Who does Hamilton have at kicker? Sask maybe poached this kicker early thinking that Hamilton was gunning for him. -

My PE teachers were also my math teachers in middle school. Probably because they were intelligent people and good teachers, not 'just athletes'. It's a joke from the hilarious Jack Black movie School of Rock. -

Denmark made a lot of catches he had no business making, and they were thrown to him by a dozen different QB's. They got a player they can use in Denmark. Not a world beater, but a solid receiver. -
I forgot Shologon, too! It's been a busy couple of days

Westerman?

That may have been one of those games that I couldn't even beat with a game genie. It was right up there with Ninja Turtles 1 in terms of throwing the controller at the screen. Stupid electric seaweed.

That is hands down my favorite track from 10,000 days. Lyrics and percussion... so good. Thanks for sharing, that was a cool video!

This is pretty different. Groovy industrial from Puscifer. Vocals by Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle) and Milla Jovovich of all people.

Hellyeah.... got to see them live when they opened for KoRn (or the empty, lifeless husks that once called themselves KoRn). They were easily the highlight of the night. Listening to them now just makes me miss want to listen to Mudvayne's LD50

hefney signs 1-day contract, retires a bomber
MOBomberFan replied to Taynted_Fayth's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It's pretty much all been said, but I'll say it anyways... Hef was my favorite Bomber for lots of reasons. He really was a tackling machine. He played with attitude and was a lot of fun to watch. His injury cut his career too short, I thought he was getting along pretty well in MTL -

So to recap, Saskatchewan has traded away the first pick in the fourth, sixth, and seventh rounds of the 2016 draft and has absolutely nothing to show for it. Solid work. -
As I recall, Rogers fronted some of the capital for the latest network expansions, so that should muddy the waters a bit further.

So far I've heard: The arena's name will not change for the foreseeable future, and 'Bell MTS' Western HQ will be based downtown and will employ around 6,900 people. The ratio of current MTS employees to Bell employees? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm still a loyal MTS customer though. I've always been happy with their service. The high speed internet is the bomb. 25 down 5 up, I've never noticed traffic shaping or throttling when I torrent. I can be gaming, torrenting and streaming in HD and it's all pretty seamless. Doesn't help that literally every online identity I use is associated with my @mts.net account. I knew I should have stuck with slipknotmanson666@hotmail.com* *not a real thing, please don't email this person
