  1. Right on. I've created the league. I made sure to set the ratio requirements prior to the draft, so if someone is forced into auto draft for whatever reason it should consider the Canadian count (I seem to recall the ratio getting adjusted after the draft, which may be why 17 got boned) When I'm back in front of my pc I'll start sending out some pm's. There is no cost involved but I may spring the $5 to get live stats. MOBomberFan Noeller BearPants 17to85 THE Mike (I'm simply a Mike) JPan85 WBBFanWest Possibly BigBlue204 That would make 8. Is anyone else interested if someone can't make the draft? Or if thee is enough interest there could be a 2nd league.
  2. There was actually an episode of The League in which they held their fantasy draft at a destination wedding the night before. Hijinx ensued, the crew was chased around a hotel by JJ Watt, and the would-be bride was blinded by sperm. So if I've learned anything it's that weddings and fantasy football do not mix. There's still time to cancel!
  3. Legit. 8 teams, live fantasy draft, you stick with your roster but can add/drop players and make trades. There's a ratio, individual defensive players, the whole deal. It's pretty much the best thing anyone can do with their time.
  4. It appears that fantaseh.ca is back up and running... is anyone interested in throwing down? I need some runners-up to witness my greatness.
  5. Dunk tanks! Have rival fans (or unfortunate staffers in rival jerseys) get dunked on the jumbotron after every TD. Maybe some lucky Bomber fan gets to pull the lever. Should be good for a laugh, especially in mid-October.
  6. Soon AM radio will reign king once more
  7. BC hadn't given up a touchdown in the past 2 or 3 games coming into Winnipeg. We couldn't contain Lulay, but big plays by Matthews and Denmark kept the game alive. After the team's performance that week I really disagreed with the decision to fire Lapo. Thinking back on the post game interview... I think Lapo knew ahead of time that if he lost the game under any circumstance he would be fired, and that probably would have influenced him to play conservatively. Hopefully Lapo feels enough job security now to take some risks and play to win, start to finish.
  8. Gotta respect a guy that keeps his eyes on the prize
  9. http://www.cfl.ca/2016/05/25/argos-monroe-smith-announce-retirement/ Monroe was part of an off-season trade with Sask.
  10. Gord Downie is a rare talent. This is just awful news. I call myself a Hip fan, and it's true, but I know some guys that worship the Hip; they never miss a show, they know all the b-sides, and they'd probably fight anyone that talks **** about the Hip. I feel for Gord, the band, and all their fans. Grace, Too performed on Saturday Night Live: http://www.pinkbike.com/video/125904/ Also, **** cancer.
  11. I actually wish my friends happy birthday by texting them a link to Birthday/Dethday
  12. What a nice day. Hanging out in the backyard listening to:
  13. Agreed. Much love for Burton Cummings and co.
  14. I might be the only person on the planet, but I loved Moon Knight comics as a kid. Right after watching season 2 of Daredevil I said that the Moon Knight character would fit this new mould of TV superhero. I assume most people aren't very familiar with him... he had multiple personas that could make for some great storytelling. He was a soldier and heavyweight boxer turned mercenary, which afforded him a small fortune in time. He used his wealth to foster multiple identities... a taxi cab driver, a wealthy entrepreneur, and the silver shrouded super hero Moon Knight. He crosses over with the Punisher, Spider-Man, the X-Men... could be neat. I also heard that ABC has greenlit the production of a Cloak and Dagger mini-series... again, an opportunity to tell some decent stories. These guys were probably the first interracial couple in comics back in the 80s. Obviously not so controversial now, but it's nice to see studios looking for stories to tell rather than just flashy powers to put on full display.
  15. No. That would mean one of them is a total dud.
  16. Who does Hamilton have at kicker? Sask maybe poached this kicker early thinking that Hamilton was gunning for him.
  17. My PE teachers were also my math teachers in middle school. Probably because they were intelligent people and good teachers, not 'just athletes'. It's a joke from the hilarious Jack Black movie School of Rock.
  18. Denmark made a lot of catches he had no business making, and they were thrown to him by a dozen different QB's. They got a player they can use in Denmark. Not a world beater, but a solid receiver.
  19. I forgot Shologon, too! It's been a busy couple of days
  20. Westerman?
  21. That may have been one of those games that I couldn't even beat with a game genie. It was right up there with Ninja Turtles 1 in terms of throwing the controller at the screen. Stupid electric seaweed.
  22. That is hands down my favorite track from 10,000 days. Lyrics and percussion... so good. Thanks for sharing, that was a cool video!
  23. This is pretty different. Groovy industrial from Puscifer. Vocals by Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle) and Milla Jovovich of all people.
