Why can't utilizing free agency be part of a patient build? How is spending to win in FA and patiently building a team mutually exclusive in your mind? We won Moore, we won Bryant... it's not like this is the first year we've opened up the cheque-book.

I hear ya. I'm a stuck behind the pay wall too, so half the articles posted here are no good to me. The other half are by the sun... they're no good to anyone. With that said it's not taking up valuable space that could be used for something else. I'd rather keep it just to see the daily headlines.

I think this is just further evidence that you are easily annoyed.

Chris Garrett scoring on the last play of what was supposed to be the last game at Canad-Inns. We held Hamilton to 3 points, this following their record setting 52 points against Montreal in the semi-finals. I won't forget it any time soon, due in part to the cold keeping me alarmingly sober all day. -

The guys sitting next to my wife and I all showed up in blue jeans and wind breakers. They didn't have a good time. I however saw one of the most memorable bomber games of my life, cold be damned. It was -17. -
I haven't tried Steam link myself, but I have heard nothing but positive reviews. If older/less demanding games are all you're interested in at this time AND your PC plays them smoothly already AND you have a reliable network in your home, then I would for sure go for the cost effective Steam link. Many games on Steam have full controller support already (KOTOR included) so you just need a USB attachment to use your current 360 controllers if you aren't doing so already. Don't need to buy a Steam controller, but they are spiffy. I personally just go HDMI out from my PC to my big screen when I want to play from the couch, but I know that's not always an option for everyone.

Kirk Penton @PentonKirk #Bombers release QB Brian Brohm. So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night. Adieu! -
Right on cue. Right there with ya, Bombers! Kirk Penton @PentonKirk #Bombers release QB Brian Brohm.

F..... I knew I missed someone, and I certainly agree. I'd put him at 9 and bump Franklin to 10.

I`ll give it a go... according to who I would want at QB right now, based on what I think their current value is... Zach Collaros <-- I thought scrambling QBs were super easy to defend Bo Levi Mitchell <-- 25 yo, undeniably good Mike Reilly <-- a winner, I like how he plays, guts galore Trevor Harris <-- IMO he has shown and accomplished more than Willy in half the time (career TD/INT ratio, YPA, making the playoffs, staying healthy... take your pick). Drew Willy <-- he's not bad. Mr Perfect will probably still tell you he's simply amazing, but I ask you this: has anyone ever seen them both in the same room at the same time??? dun-dun-DUNNNNNN! </dramatic music> Jonathon Jennings <-- could be the real deal and is only 23 years old... of all the young backups and prospect QBs, he looks to me like the best Ricky Ray <-- how many years left? Hank <-- how many years left? Great value Fantas-eh pick, though James Franklin <-- 25 yo and looked efficient in his rookie year Travis Lulay <-- potentially one hit away, but then isn't everybody? Darian Durant <-- maybe deserves more but his recent injury, poor play, and 'general ****-headedness' pushes him out of the top 10 Matt Nichols <-- has shown competence and has lots of CFL experience. He's not the QB I had hoped he was back when he and Reilly were competing for the starters gig in EDM, but he's better than a lot of backups out there. Kevin Glenn <-- not an auspicious number at all in the CFL... perfect spot for Glenn. Rakeem Cato <-- had a hard time fitting Cato in... young athletic guy, can run and heave the ball... can he be coached up to elevate his game? Jeff Matthews <-- is he any good without Luke Tasker on the field? Seriously though, spread the ball around. Jeremiah Masoli <-- I was a fan and was eager to see him play... flashes of good, streaks of bad Jordan Lynch <-- hasn't had an opportunity to screw up yet. Good short yardage guy apparently. Thomas DeMarco <-- might never get to play if robo-Hank keeps it up Brett Smith <-- is there something there? was he just late to the party on a bad team in the midst of a failed season? Better than Tino, anyways. 20. through 30. A bunch of other guys including the allegedly promising Dom Davis, the awful Dan LeFevour, and AFL super star Adrian McPherson 31. A broken JUGS machine 32. My infant niece 33. Chicken salad on rye 34. Casey Printers 35. Brian Brohm Marve and Beck don't really make the list as retired QB's aren't worth much on the field.

If this was a ploy to make me spend time with my family I'll have you know it failed. Nice try, Rich.

Looks great. Will take a little getting used to but overall I dig what I'm seeing.

Figured this belongs here: http://3downnation.com/2015/12/19/the-cfl-guide-to-the-college-football-bowl-season/ A quick glance at players from each CFL team's neg-list that will be playing in bowl games. -

Given our RB struggles, we can and have done worse than Allen... but I don't expect he would come cheap enough. I also liked Terrell Maze but we can probably find younger talent as he'd be 32 by the start of next season. -
I want to go back to wearing rapiers on our belts. En garde, *******.

We can each easily cherry pick shootings throughout the years to illustrate our points. It would be a sad depressing endeavor that would leave us with a great sense of despair for humanity I'm sure. It's especially sad to me that I can type the words mall shooting into Google and a dozen suggestions of different cities and states pop up. Same with school shooting. I think about all we are going to part ways agreeing on is that no citizen should own or have access to an assault rifle. Whether you think foreign terrorists, Islamic or otherwise, are a greater threat to you and the people you know and care for than home grown nut jobs are... that's up to you. I actually did get to endure a real life bomb threat at my high school in the year following columbine. It felt pretty real and had zero to do with religious extremism. A real life non-anecdotal reason to believe domestic threats are present and tangible. I could justify my fear of domestic threats, if I chose to fear them. I wonder how many people can justify their fear of foreign terrorists beyond scary images on TV.

You're right, most people would immediately envision a perpetrator with the Jafar beard and some bushy eyebrows, but the actual reality is that here... today in the place that we live, our wacko neighbour's are more dangerous than the 1 in 25000 or so Muslims that turn out to be terrorists. If that's not a point you care to discuss that's fine, but I reiterate that some people here are suggesting that our boogeyman has a face (and probably a beard...) and I'm saying if you want to live in fear you don't need boogeyman, you already have neighbour's.
-
So nobody here suggested that Muslim terrorists are the only ones killing people - and by extension are the only thing we need to be afraid of? Maybe to a critical thinker like you who has already examined the situation from a few angles I'm being simplistic or obtuse... but there are still a lot of people, neighbour's and coworkers, who are quick to blame foreigners for all our ills and ignore the fact we grow our own sickos right here at home. The point you're discussing is... radical Islam is scary? I agree. So are homophobes and prolifers and the 40% of American Christians who believe we are living in the end times. Ignore me if you don't like my contribution to his noise.

Nice grab in the end zone, damn.

The benefit of having a GM who is 'in tune' with the CIS? In tune with what, exactly? Walters draft record isn't any worse or better than Joe Mack so far. Oh ISO haven't you heard? Kyle Walters has an impeccable eye for Canadian talent. Nothing sneaks past him.
