It was posted on the Blue Bombers website on Mar12 and has been advertised on Facebook for sure, but I haven't seen anything in the papers or heard anything on the radio. http://www.bluebombers.com/article/2015-fan-forum

He is one hell of a good returner. I wonder why the Esks cut him. Are they so flush at DB? Wasn't that long ago he led the league in INTs and he's only 28.

Brilliant! Apparently, he thought the play had been blown dead due to defensive offsides, and had been coached to stay still to prevent any chance of the Oline being penalized for a false start. Whatever the case... it looks pretty funny and he's standing out in the worst way. Other than this... has anyone heard anything else about Mr Sanders?

Tearing it up on the basketball court, apparently. -
That would be some damn good advice. I was lucky enough to by my house in 2007, and not long after that the housing prices in Winnipeg really took off. Not the nicest place but it's in a great neighborhood (Portage/Ferry area, south side of Portage). Now, after a little bit of work the house couldn't possibly go for less than 180k if it hit the market. I can remember feeling gouged when I paid 91k. Had no idea how lucky I really was. My brother is buying his first home now, same area roughly but north of Ness. He has to borrow from my folks to get the 10% minimum he needs for CMHC. He's lucky to have that luxury, I have no idea how the next generation of home buyers are going to make it work, especially if their parents can't help them out.

This has me thinking... I'm curious to see whether the best OL get drafted first or if they're around later. If anyone is more bored than I am and could throw that information together it would be interesting to look at. I know there are some drafts where the best OL taken weren't the first guys taken. Would be neat to see just how accurate CFL teams are with their assessments. It is interesting to see how many top/first round picks are busts compared to guys taken way later in the draft. I've always liked the Justin Sorensen/Luc Brodeur-Jordain comparison. In 2008, Sorensen was the 3rd OL taken that year, 5th overall (Labatte was the 4th OL, 6th overall)... Brodeur-Jourdain has been a division All-Star twice and was the very last player taken in the draft, 48th overall.

Interestingly, Manitoba has among the lowest 'Criminal Code traffic violation' and 'other code traffic violation' rates in Canada. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Canada#Crime_statistics_by_province_and_territory We sure take the cake on violence, rape, murder, and property damage. I see our low attempted murder rates as a sign that we finish what we start here in MB.

Pretty sure it applies more to the NFL, but X receiver is the wide receiver furthest from the QB when the ball is snapped. The wr opposite the field is the Z receiver and is usually closer to the action. I don't know if a slot or tight end gets a letter designation when drawing up the plays. I also think Wolverine would make a better safety than receiver, personally. He would bring the hurt every time.

Indeed, I wonder if we can set a record for threads split in a week. -
Somehow when I was 16 and invincible I survived driving and eating a footlong sub on a regular basis. It was messy and I was definitely distracted, but by the grace of spaghetti monster I never killed anyone, only blue boxes. Nowadays, knowing how distracted and dangerous I actually was, it drives me crazy seeing people on their phones or texting while driving. If you want to say you aren't at least a little distracted holding a phone to your head or texting, or yes changing the song on your iPod, you're deluding yourself and you're a legitimate danger to responsible drivers around you. Get off my road. I think the most clever place for radar cops to hang out is a block past one of the photo-radar intersections... lots of people slow down for the photo radar, then gun it as soon as they clear the intersection. The last speeding ticket I ever got was heading south on Moray crossing Lodge, headed for the Sterling Lion Speedway. Got me doing 65 and accelerating in a 50. Been an otherwise responsible driver since. I'd say it worked as a deterrent. If you get ticketed and don't change your habits then you deserve to fill the citie's coffers with your recklessness.

You know what,I'll take a stand and say residential schools were a not terrible idea that was just handled really poorly. Should a just assimilated everyone from the start then there'd be a lot less problems with reserves It's fair to say the intended purpose of the schools wasn't a terrible idea. But if even half the things we know about residential schools here in Manitoba are true, then the people operating them were some of the worst kind of human garbage on the planet. Forcibly removing kids from their communities to systematically rape, abuse, and indoctrinate them is not handling a situation poorly, it's committing a crime against humanity. As earlier posters have alluded to, the wounds inflicted upon students and their families fester to this day.

Yep, sorry Zontar, not to pile on but... you clearly don't know what you're talking about in this instance. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you just thought "Schools = Good".

K-Band is a type of radar, commonly used in radar guns. Some people have radar detectors, and it helps to know what type of radar is being used against you so that you may continue to endanger lives without getting a ticket. Huff saw a value in Shomari. Some people here dont. He also saw first-round value in Ameet Pall. Huff is far from infallible. Personally I'd have liked to see Shomari on teams to start with and work his way into the rotation like anyone else. Oh well.

I was going through the Steam library and decided to fire up Civilization IV over the weekend. I was quickly reminded that Nimoy did most of the voicework, reading quotes of famous leaders or pieces of scripture throughout the game. It will be a very long time before this man fades from memory.

I'll never forget The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins. Jeez now it's stuck in my head.

My wife is half way through episode 7. I'm sure I'll get the coles notes when I get home from work. She claims it is not as engrossing as seasons 1 & 2.... but I repeat, she is already halfway through episode 7 the day it launched... pretty sure that's the definition of engrossing.

That was easy.

To update to the latest roster, try opening up the online play menu, such as playing with a friend or having a match made for you. This should download both the latest tuner settings and rosters. The edit lines section is not very intuitive I'll give you that, but I don't know why you're experiencing the problems you're describing. Press I think L3 (on PS3) to let the coach choose the best lines for you, then tinker. Should be as easy as going to, say, top line RW, pressing X (or A for you XBoxers), then being presented with a list of players to choose from; whoever you choose takes that spot on the line, but doesn't necessarily trade spots on the roster with the guy he's replacing. Sorry, I'm describing by memory and I don't recall it being all that difficult, but maybe there are quirks I haven't run into yet. I upgraded from 13 to 15. Wow, I love 15 , best NHL game so far in my opinion. The skating is so much smoother, the shooters accuracy has gone way up, and the hits... so much more jarring than they've ever been. Collisions can be epic.

So then you're saying that Kohlert is better than Watson? More reliable than Watson, anyways.

Pruneau was pretty good, too. They'll miss Simmons big time though.

Hank needs someone to throw to... but ya, this stinks of desperation.
