  1. So in other words... The world don't move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you may not be right for some?
  2. I'll have him on my team. Just not on the back of my jersey.
  3. And I hate to agree, but here we are
  4. Nope I'm sorry, he's a homophobe. Thousands upon thousands of Christians across the world can reconcile their religious beliefs and homosexuality with tolerance. And if they can't do that, the sensible ones at the very least keep their traps shut about it. Just like Donald Sterling makes him self look like more of a racist by saying 'I'm not a racist', so too do homophobes by claiming they are not homophobes... especially after they come out and say something as ignorant as Mo Price did. He has shown his true colors; he can't turn around and blame his ignorance on his imaginary friend.
  5. I stopped waterside by the Pharmasave and asked a poiliceman for directions to the Canadian Tire. I swear he gave me some bogus directions, I believe because he didn't like my Bomber plates, jersey, and hat. A left turn past the tracks and up the hill later and I was asking a burly unshaven saskatoon-picking local for directions. He started off with 'Holy **** you're lost' so yes, I have since invested in GPS.
  6. I got lost in Kenora last summer. We were camping at West Hawk, we brought baseball gloves but no baseball... so we drove in and thought the town was beautiful. I wish I could have looked around more. There was a really good fry shack in the Canadian Tire parking lot, I seriously recommend checking it out if you see it.
  7. Seen this on reddit today. It's amazing what some creative editing can do to set the tone of a movie...
  8. If only this were around the last 2 years when we tried running the hurry up offence. Maybe we will see more teams willing to give it a try now.
  9. what a ridiculous argument.... how many other animals have the means to actually pull that off? Ants are capable of farming and milking aphids!
  10. Oh snap. Bad news indeed for someone who made such a splash at ecamp.
  11. I don't think a CFL team will ever reject a player because they got caught with less than a quarter of marijuana. Nor should they.
  12. Vegans and many vegetarians get plenty of protein from beans, lentils, and legumes. I eat like a vegetarian 2 out of 3 meals every day and it feels fantastic. But life without beef is not a life I want to live. I know for a fact that the western world's level of meat and dairy consumption is wildly unsustainable and generally adverse to our overall health... but damnit when I wants a double deluxe cheeseburger I gets a double deluxe cheeseburger, simple as that.
  13. Dr Handsome was a very sarcastic doctor. It was his mocking, sardonic bedside manner that eventually led to his medical license being revoked.
  14. He's not afraid to finish the play.
  15. I like them... but I was also expecting saw blades and serrated edges everywhere, so I had set the bar pretty low already.
  16. I'm not sure if the Safeway at Madison Square will be a Sobeys or a Co-Op. It's a relatively new building and is fairly large, so I suspect it will be a Sobeys. I agree that while you can save money at Superstore, there is a lot to be said for the convenience of Safeway. I will miss their meat shop; anyone that is willing to remove the strip of fat from underneath my back ribs can go ahead and charge me an extra 25 cents/lb.
  17. My only question is: Will they still give Airmiles?
  18. Wow I didn't even know they were still together. Tickets are only $30-$35 too... why god on a monday
  19. I'd rather go see Wu Tang. They ain't nothin to **** with
  20. I took this to mean officials will be made available to the media for interviews, not the fans/public. Though I suppose members of the media could also be drunken louts.
  21. Me too... Just hook it to my veins!
  22. The 2009 Banjo Bowl was the worst thing I've ever seen as a Bomber fan. The Boltus game would be #2. As least with the Boltus game we didn't have to watch thousands of the other teams fans mock us in our own stadium. It got even worse when the Sasquatches around us actually started feeling sorry for us and eventually eased up on us. Instead, they started to share their own Michael Bishop facepalm moments. It was a sad sad day.
  23. Traffic/transit concerns on day 1 set aside, my sole issue with the stadium was with the concessions. There was never really any way to tell where the line started, or how many lines there were on the go, unless you were at a place like Schwarma Khan or the Mini-Donuts where they had ropes in place. Then when you finally placed your order, you weren't given an order number or receipt or anything like that... you were simply asked to go stand to the side with a throng of other hungry impatient people. As orders came up, the first people to get served were whoever was the pushiest/most bastardy. The concession employees would just take your word that the food you grabbed out of their hands was the food you paid for... I bet there were plenty of people walking away with someone else's food. Honestly, it couldn't get much worse. I wish I could say it only happened once. Fortunately, several times through the offseason the Bombers called me directly, and I was able to pass this feedback along to an actual human being rather than a suggestion box. We'll soon see if there is any improvement this year.
  24. That's the night before the draft. Too bad it wasn't planned for the night after the draft, I'm sure some fans would have liked to ask about the picks we made.
