I have been Santa Lucia fan for some time, but I recently tried Gondola pizza... wow, was that ever good! Not over-heaped with toppings like at Santa Lucia, so you don't have to eat it with a fork and knife. I think it's the sauce that makes it stand out to me. And they have this in-house shredded salami salad with oil and vinegar dressing... to die for. I strongly recommend Gondola next time you do delivery.

I hope Ottawa never folds again, as I too would like to see a 10 team league at some point. I think an even better question is: Who wins the cup first? Winnipeg or Ottawa?

Crazy talk! Tim Burke has been and will likely continue to be among the best DC's in the league. 4 consecutive seasons in the GC, winning two of them? Our most successful season in the past 5 years was the one year he was our DC from start to finish. BUT... the situation in Winnipeg would never have worked for Burke or the Bombers. Nobody wants to get unceremoniously demoted and told to work for the next guy in line, and the incoming staff wanted to show they were heading in a completely new direction; that meant shedding basically the entire coaching staff, including Burke.

I thought the argument is that he shouldn't be released because there is a chance he could re-offend. But drunk drivers do get released from jail once they've served their time. From the Freep: Meanwhile, import running back Travon Jones (5-8, 171) has tweeted the Bombers have invited him to training camp. The Bombers are light on running backs, having not re-signed either Chad Simpson or Will Ford from last year’s team. So far, that tweet is the closest thing to an official announcement I can find after 5 minutes of googling... which, for the record, is about 3.5 more minutes of googling than most Winnipeg sports writers have likely done in researching Jones.

Unfortunately, that's one of the main criticisms I've seen about Willy's game... that he is prone to being a statue from time to time.

We did no such thing, he retired on his own terms which I respect enormously. Did he really though.... Why wouldn't he of retired before the dispersal draft then.... We could of kept Miles potentially had he done that. That's an interesting point, but it's not Edwards' responsibility to make sure all the right strategic moves are being made at the right time. He chose to retire when he did because it was the right time for him (we assume), or perhaps he decided for himself following the expansion draft that he didn't want to return anymore. Who knows. I for one am glad that TE retired as a Blue Bomber, and not a recently drafted redblack.

Agreed. Seems to me he defended some guy accused of being a racist, and in turn was called a racist himself...? It's a riveting tale filled with many twists and turns. That and he doesn't control what other people say to him.
