Yep that's the one, they closed for good in November 2019, it's a shame but I can hardly blame them. There is one convenience store I pass often, Westhome Foods on Wellington Ave just East of Arlington, they had their windows smashed two or three times this summer before finally installing metal shutters. Many corner stores must lock their doors and force customers to buzz in. Rough out here for people selling chips and cigarettes. Angry health-nuts are surely to blame!

Block Party Friday and Saturday night was worth the lost voice on Sunday morning. There were enough Bomber fans in the crowd on Friday night that even right up close to the stage you always knew the score from people calling it out between songs. The replay was up on YouTube by the time I managed to get out of bed on Saturday. No regrets. Never really thought much about Arkells outside the GC halftime show, wow they put on a show. They came down into the crowd a couple times and each time the frontman stopped to sing barely an arms' length away from me. I had to make way for the brass section at one point. Sloan is a band I always tried to get out and see but plans always shifted or events got rained out and it just never happened til yesterday, well worth the wait, they rocked as expected, loved to see them swap instruments mid-act, I'd heard they do that often and wanted to see it. IME always awesome, big fan, what more can I say. Headstones got the crowd body surfing and Hugh Dillon also climbed down into the crowd a few times. At one point while throwing drinks around he nailed the guy right infront of me with a dixie cup of (I'm hoping) water. Great set, great performers, awesome closing act. VIP is great and all but the GA front and centre experience was way more memorable. So long as you can handle all the standing and close quarters, dress appropriately and mix in an occasional water once in a while you're fine. Good times, can't wait to see the lineup for next year!

For those that are interested, and it is only 1 person so it's hardly representing the entire population, but if you jump to the 6 minute mark you can hear an actual inuit person say we liked the Eskimos, they were our team because they had our name... anecdotal, yes, not fully representative, sure, but not everyone who 'should' be offended was offended. No doubt you can easily find an inuit person that hated the esks name too, but there you go.

I'd at least let the week finish out before declaring his position among league leaders. As of right now Collaros has played more games than any other starting QB (9 compared to 7 or 8 ) and has the lowest QB rating of any starting QB (86.8) And then there's the simple eye test, which is finally trending in the right direction, but still not MOP top-paid QB worthy (in my humble opinion), he looked better than he has lately and thank goodness for that

Watching the game for the 3rd time now... think it's all been said but I'm really liking Randolph, no way he sits if he keeps this up til Neuf is back, we have the ratio flexibility to leave him in Nice to see guys like Johnson building chemistry and confidence, we need everyone to step up Best secondary in the league right now Three man pressure getting it done, Garbutt Adams Hubert Woods giving me hope for the future while Willy keeps on being Willy Still not using Strev to full effect... figure it out!
