  1. GC 2025 in WPG was announced before Zach's extension... seems to me the whole brain trust was willing to gamble on Zach being 'the man' all the way thru 2025, willfully ignoring the likelihood of him falling apart by then. It was an expensive gamble hoping for the best, and it's not working out for us
  2. Anything beyond a conditional 7th round pick would be a coup
  3. Wilson: I caught that thing three times boi
  4. Nice drive and nice pass for a TD by Dru
  5. Go Ottawa, I suppose...
  6. Gojira will play during the opening ceremonies. Amazing! Everyone can use some metal in their life
  7. Give us a recommendation, what's currently top of the BigBlue charts?
  8. Tom Segura Bobby Lee and Jessica Kirson were well worth the expense and the GA+ imo was worth it too, got there at 6pm, no lineup at the gates merch tables or drink tents, got seats within arms reach of the VIP area. I hear Billy Redface was a great show as well buy I'm happy with my choice to see Jeans in person
  9. Back to back weeks sending the fans home happy. Wilson throws a party. Osh secures the tie breaking points with the 2 point convert. That was a game
  10. Kola got a big raise from 90k in 2023 to reportedly 140k/150k in 24/25. The obvious thing was to let Eli take over, looked obvious to me anyways. Mind you Eli hasn't been healthy so we'd be starting whoever replaced Kola rn, but certainly for cheaper than 140k
  11. Oh man, Evans serves up an easy little frisbee toss for a pick 6
  12. Patrice Rene clobbered MBT, let's see if he's recovered
  13. Nope, sorry, I respectfully have to challenge you on this one. He was on the watchlist as one of the top 40 C's in the nation 2 years running, and while the final award is not decided by PFF, the watchlist is and has been since 2014 or so. It's all on their website, I've linked it before.
  14. In other words, the Rimington Trophy watchlist is a specifically bad watchlist.
  15. He's for sure a mauler when he comes in on heavy packages. He also oozes potential and has for years... he had consistently high PFF scores in college which firmly landed him on the Rimington Trophy watchlist for 2 years running before his career was derailed by a knee injury. Ironically, many posters here can't stand PFF, but some of those same posters will gladly point to Eli's Rimington nod as irrefutable evidence of his skill (even though Rimington watchlists are basically just the top 40 PFF scores). All that said, at least in in my eyes, Kola has set the bar between "average-at-best" and "not very good". Surely Eli could hurdle that bar... and if not, why did we sign to to a 3 year deal back in 2023? Eli should get the chance to finally show what he can do in a starter's role.
