  1. I could handle out of town posters rehashing the GC loss and hometown posters criticizing our somewhat aging roster, but I draw the line at mac-n-cheese and weiner slander from anyone How dare you? Be ashamed and do better. My tapeworm and I bid you good day
  2. A SuperBowl commercial in which Dave Grohl tells Americans they owe Canada thanks for many things, including FOOTBALL
  3. The NFL can go ahead and let him slip through the cracks, their loss is our gain (both our team and our league). What a relief it will be to have him back for another season on such a bargain
  4. We need long term variable rate contracts that rise and fall with demands of the market. Have fun with managing that by season's end, GMs
  5. How's that hangover treating you @Wideleft? Greasy eggs and a white cherry Gatorade should sort you out
  6. I thought the same, if Tommy Prince isn't the "greatest" he's certainly among the most bad-ass
  7. In no particular order: Hunky Bill Konyk Chip and Pepper Anna Paquin in jean shorts Rowdy Roddy Piper Edit: Turns out Roddy Piper wasn't born here, but was raised here
  8. If only I could add another poorly cropped rider logo
  9. My Windows Paint interpretation on the Sad Sack Sask sticker For @Bubba Zanetti
  10. https://3downnation.com/2023/02/07/blue-bombers-working-to-bring-star-receiver-kenny-lawler-back-to-winnipeg/ What we already suspected, Lawler back in Blue & Gold is in the works... Ellingson made $165k, Bailey $138k... if they walk, there is your $300k+ overpay right there! (I kid) Seriously though, if Agudosi comes back healthy and Schoen comes back at all, landing Lawler would make our starting WR core best in the league, hands down I don't even care what else happens in FA. Lawler I think will be our big splash on the open market.
  11. The 3DN article mentions the Bombers were in on Jennings in 2018 but he opted to go to OTT... earlier that same offseason, Durant was expected to be our backup, but he took his signing bonus and retired instead... being spurned by these 2 forced us to bring in Alex Ross and some nobody named Chris Streveler to camp Thanks JJ and Darian Durant!
  12. Dunbar Jr is another tall target with a second gear and some YAC ability. Quality WRs will be available to us no matter what at this rate.
  13. Wieneke's 2022 season was mediocre but so was the team he was on. The year before he was an All Star and led the league in TDs. Ellingson was supposed to put up big numbers on our vastly superior team.
  14. I still like Ellingson too and wouldn't be upset to see him back. The chemistry he and Collaros have is obvious. I recall Ellingson being targeted 14 times in one game, he was everywhere he needed to be and was unstoppable.
  15. Agreed on Wieneke, he's only 28 and poised to bounce back, he used to make big plays look routine. Collaros loves him some Ellingson though, if he has any say I can imagine Ellingson back.
  16. AP News, Reuters, Al-Jazeera are generally solid, VICE is getting bigger and better by the day, The Guardian is generally in the centre but does lean more left than right. News agencies with an agenda or political slant will take reports directly from AP and Reuters, run it through their spin machines, and present the identical story garnished with their own slant. We used to take media literacy in high school and were tasked with finding articles using neutral language and articles that had a slant... going direct to Reuters or AP was the only way to do it.
  17. Hard to imagine him moving on, I thought for sure he'd be an early re-signing though. I'm not worrying... yet
  18. I have a couple direct answers for this, just my take, maybe asking an actual doctor would be more useful but here goes...
  19. I went to a packed indoor event around Halloween and got COVID. Social distancing was impossible, and I knew that not many people would be masking, but I went anyway because I wanted to have some fun and act like things are normal. It proved to be a selfish choice because the people I cared about that depend on me most were without my support the better part of a week. Thank goodness I'm vaxxed and boosted, to think it could have been even worse and dragged on even longer... yikes In the meantime, I've tried unplugging and turning a blind eye to the backlog of surgeries in this province, but the darn thing just won't go away! Wish it could 'move on' as easily. Nothing to see here if you just ignore it. Yes, you're just going to die anyways, exercise doesn't work. Get out there and lick a doorknob, live a little
  20. God wanted him working for Skip and UberEats it would seem. Mysterious ways, that guy
