You heard it here first guys. Doesn't matter what you say so long as you sound good saying it. This according to a guy that claims to know someone who works for HNIC. Pack it in Noeller, your decades of first hand experience are nothing next to the anecdotes of a guy that knows a guy.

The vendors, security, event day staff, volunteers... all wore masks to protect us fans. It wasn't hard for me to do the same in return for them. Its just a matter of being decent and respectful, not ignorant or fearful. Being polite to strangers is optional but I do it anyway. I see this much the same.

Honest smart and humble!

The crowd was great. I don't remember that much genuine enthusiasm on the fan cam before the lockdown. We even saw a proposal, and yet a simple 'Riders Suck' sign got the cheer of the night and started a chant on the East upper deck. Concessions were honestly a mess but since I was DD, Shawarma Khan and a Pepsi was perfectly fine. Not waiting 10 minutes in line to wait another 20 minutes for Pizza and a coors light blechhhhh

I swear it was the very same day they announced the CFL would return that the barriers went up.

Just a heads up... the roads around the East side of the stadium (University Cres, Dafoe) are under repair and direct access to Kings Dr is cut of with a detour leading you through the campus. This will no doubt slow traffic, and constrcution barriers/snow fencing will make some peoples walks a bit longer.

I count myself incredibly lucky to have bought in '07, I think thats the year things started to slowly heat up and prices around the city began to inflate... Bourkevale Park area, South side of Portage between Berry and Ferry, a stone's throw from the river... for only 91,500 back then. At this point, even a marginal upgrade would cost me another 200k. What would 90k get nowadays? The loft of a garage?
