100% agree. The bit about federal contractors paying migrant workers $15/hour is huge, and not just for those migrant workers; all too often, Agriculture and basically any business not operating within a city can say 'I posted the job at minimum wage and nobody would take it', opening the doors for them to legally hire migrant workers at barbaric wages. By bumping migrant workers wages to 15, big Ag has nothing to gain from devaluing local labour as they have been for years and local workers reap the benefits. Rural Manitoban greenhouses could take a lesson believe me

Ya wtf. This one actually gets me more than most. The president in 5th element, the cool af Islamic guy on the prisoner boat in the dark knight, plenty of voicework, on top of his wwf stint... this guy happened to be in quite a few of my favorites.

The GOP is full of awful people. Don't let me stop your daily reminders! However I loved TLP ads. I picture Trump's tiny clenched fists shaking in fury while he ******* at Kelly-Anne about her husband's antics every time a new ad went viral

That's not at all what that article says. The article says the better the ad did on Twitter, the less effective it seemed to be at flipping votes. I know that's not your statement, but whoever made that statement is a goof or bad at reading.

She is a nutcase bud. Here, she suggests that America should fear migrant caravans because there might be a suicide agent embedded with a deadly disease, not to mention all the other diseases the caravan is surely carrying (dirty foreigners that they are) "One scenario is to embed a suicide agent incubating a deadly disease in a mass of migrants. Or there are doubtlessly innocent persons infected with deadly diseases to which Americans have no immunity among thousands of migrants overwhelming our border—from Central America and many other places. " https://aapsonline.org/epidemics-fear-and-denial-how-every-american-is-threatened/ She proposes things to be afraid of without any evidence there is anything to be afraid of. She penned this article in support of the wall so we know where her heart lies as well.

I wonder if they can restrict travel for people who decline the vaccination... international or domestic, coming or going....

$47 claim for 3 pre-installed OS' and a very old version of Office. Not too shabby.

A male in his 30's from the Winnipeg region. Don't know anyone like that *tugs collar nervously*

This is it in a nutshell. No clue how it could have gone differently for the CFL

The meltdown in the twitter thread is pretty funny. How many people are adjusting their fantasy roster right now because they don't get jokes.

The produce is exactly what I'm afraid of having someone else pick out. Good to know they try to pick good stuff. I'll give save-on a shot next time, the Polo/St James location is very near

WPG vs EDM "What is your name, sir?" Haha It's funnier than the actual Office

What a headache for retailers, given next to no notice. Something had to be done of course... but jeez, as if things aren't hard enough cleaning shelves and tills behind customers, guarding entrances to enforce sanitation, mask use and occupancy... I tried out instacart the other day, rather than going to Costco myself. It's a bit pricey but at this point I'll gladly pay $30 to have someone else spend 2 hours at Costco on my behalf.

Yes, after Reed coughed up 2 first rounders for Johnny Football the Als could use a top pick.

Sorry iHeart, this must be frustrating to watch people act like this is no big deal when real people we know, not faceless numbers, are dying

https://www.businessinsider.com/sweden-herd-immunity-second-wave-coronavirus-cases-hospitalisations-surge-2020-11 Sweden's chief epidemiologist has admitted that the country is now experiencing a second wave of coronavirus despite predicting that the country's no-lockdown policy would prevent another surge. Herd immunity, no lock down policies... didn't work

Yes, bankruptcy is the only thing I could see preventing him from getting all his money. Even then, he'd likely get some small part of it... but then, the BC Lions will have been liquidated, so there's that to be concerned about...
-
I don't want my league failing to pay guaranteed money in any circumstance. BC Management should pass the hat around and get Reilly his money. That looks bad on us big time. Salary cap is expected to shrink if we even get another season. How are we to attract/retain quality players if our contracts aren't worth the un-filed napkins they're written on?

I had some doomsday stuff all typed up and ready to post but I thought screw it, why ruin what little optimism you guys seem to have left. We're all going to see soon enough anyways...
