Nope, probably the contract extension he was given in 2011 that paid him through 2014 was why he worked for TSN. Kept collecting his 220k+ annually while double dipping with TSN as analyst until we re-hired him in the winter of 2015. It's the smart move, LaPo loves the smart move.

I dunno, if we can't score TDs we're going to need those 57 yard field goals and punts inside the 10 yard line. I don't know how much he gets paid but he's worthy every penny.

QB quality the way it is around the league it's not like Nichols is going to up and disappear any time soon. Glenn found work this season.

May be we should start Streveler next year if he can win or lose a game in one play and he doesn't even need 4 quarters to do it.

I just think it's a bit of a stretch to say this one specific play 'likely cost us the game' when Nichols had all game to do something and he couldn't. It may not be all on Nichols, but it's definitely not all on Streveler "You get one play to win the game kid or it's all your fault!"

Yep, winning is the goal and it's tough to do that with training wheels on. Let's see who we can bring to camp before declaring anyone our starter for next season. Streveler will still have his role to play, starter or not.

Let's not lose sight of who actually beat us today. Calgary is a good team and their record reflects that. They have one of the most effective QBs the CFL has ever seen and their depth at receiver is ridiculous. I sincerely hope they choke because frankly it's sickening.

Who cost us the game, a young QB that missed one throw or the QB that couldn't generate any offense to speak of whatsoever?

I like the idea of saving some major cap space... I love the idea of rolling with the young gun QB and letting him work it out on the field... he's got a great skill set and fiery attitude that suits our offenses smash mouth identity. Still, it's pretty early to be anointing our next starter before we see who shows up to camp.

Medlock - pretty much the only reason we were on the score board Harris - I hope he's got more in the tank for next season. Deserved better play calls Jeffcoat - a big sack early set the tone for a strong defensive effort. Pressure on BLM kept us in the game longer than maybe we should have been, HH - Simonise for picking up our biggest offensive play of the game, and the Bomber fans in the stands for repping our team in hostile territory. -
Looking at it this way. We are basically just edging our way towards the greatest championship jugger-nut every experienced in football fandom. Every season without the GC is going to make our collective cup-gasm that much more epic. These teams that keep winning cups every few years have no self restraint and don't know what they're missing out on.

Credit to the CGY D they are giving our oline fits and not letting Harris break free from the first tackle. We are still in this just gotta keep our legs moving
