  1. Very unfortunate. I thought he was going to be in the mix at WR.
  2. He made mistakes, but he made them at full speed and with intent. Bring back Walker
  3. A great new series on HBO called 'Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas' discusses this topic very well. Check it out!
  4. In case anyone thinks he even has a chance of coming back... Kuale was injured early and forced to the sidelines. Not many injured 34yo free agents getting camp invites these days.
  5. This guy is high on vitamins and hydration
  6. So I'm hotboxing my car when 'yadda yadda yadda' the cops punch me in the face repeatedly for no reason. Cool story.
  7. I don't honestly know. Even without a history of police run-ins I still give the cops the benefit of the doubt on this one. Nobody got shot despite an alleged assault on an officer, I'd say this ended as well as anyone could hope for. People should be suspicious of police and their powers should be checked and balanced but to assume police brutality and racial discrimination at every turn is so divisive and plain silly. That's the last I'll say on it here, this is a football forum after all
  8. Yep, it's not an unbelievable story at all. Pretty run of the mill and if not for the fact he was a college star in Oklahoma where he was arrested it probably wouldn't have been very newsworthy. Besides, there is an apartment building full of possible witnesses with camera phones... pretty elaborate cover story that would easily be debunked by a single YouTube video. It's far easier for me to believe Roy Finch acted in a criminal manner than 9 cops "beat him up for fun" no matter how tantalizing a headline that would make.
  9. A little bit of googling will inform you Roy Finch was allegedly hotboxing an idling vehicle outside an apartment complex for a solid hour early Sunday morning. When confronted by police there was allegedly a strong smell of weed and Roy Finch allegedly took a swing at a cop, broke free from custody, and was pursued on foot. Initially Finch evaded the police until they established a perimeter and in a second altercation were able to stun and tackle him (as seen in the video). Can you imagine trying to chase down Roy Finch when he is running for his life? Way to hustle, coppers!
  10. This was posted to cfl.ca today: https://www.cfl.ca/2018/04/09/cfl-community-rallies-remember-young-journalist-tyler-bieber/
  11. Lol I asked myself the same thing earlier today and had to go back several pages and I'm still not sure. I think it's Prewitt.
  12. Ticketmaster is offering single seats in the nosebleeds for $165 (before taxes and feefees). The worst seats in the house are 300 level adjacent to the stage where you can't see the light show or backdrop at all. There are at least some seats still available in the 300 level that actually face the stage. I'm not going though. Nuts to those prices.
  13. Was gonna drink beer tonight but Crown won out. Sorry beer but you aren't whisky.
  14. I worked at Convergys yonks ago... at this time I was working overnights with about a dozen other people... we were cliquey and sat apart from one another, but were still restricted to a few rows. One group was heavily addicted to the song Wake Me Up by Evanescence. They would play it repeatedly throughout the night, just loud enough that you could tell what song was playing but not aloud enough to actually enjoy the song (if that is even possible). In a huge empty warehouse, no matter how far away you sat, the song was inescapable. They would sing along as well as they could, loudly and off key. The words eventually lost all meaning. I am confident that when I get to hell I will be forced to read the comments section of the Free Press with Wake Me Up playing far off in the distance for eternity.
  15. Finally made it to One Great City Brewing co. for lunch... definitely worth the expense. Loving that Monkey Trail Pale Ale. I'm fortunate enough to live only a few blocks away... will need to set aside space in my house for empty growlers this summer. Gotta check out one of their cask nights.
  16. Homer and Flanders? Come on now...
  17. No probably not, but the cameras would be glued to him the first time it played that's for sure.
  18. Probably to give fans something more to talk about in the long off season. I'd like to know which college and NFL players I should be keeping a closer eye on.
  19. To be clear, I'm not saying MB is not a very good punter... my point is... it's nice to not have to rely on potential for a change and can settle for having the best kicker in league history.
  20. Is Menard-Briere? Are you sure enough you'd be ready to gamble on it? Medlock is more than adequate when you consider he pulls double duty.
  21. Why not score and control field position any and every way you can the best you can? I don't honestly believe you think dealing Medlock is a good idea or you're out to lunch. Not to mention what a solid team player Medlock was when he restructured his contract a season back. Doesn't seem like an O'Shea move to me, rewarding a solid player like that.
  22. What he forgot to mention is teams have their own sort of market value... and that Alouette stock is sliding quite a bit
  23. After years of consistent inconsistency at kicker I'd rather stick with Medlock. He's a kicker that wins you games (maybe not from 62 yards out). We'd miss him a lot more than Okpolaugo.
  24. How are Riders expected to keep track of all these numbers... when they can't even count to thirteen?
