Unfortunately you never really truly recover from post concussion syndrome, but with his elusiveness he definitely escaped getting hit several times last night.

The DB's also must of stuck to the receivers like glue.... Masoli could not find anyone downfield outside of the first two drives.

Nichols after his last injury could basically drop back make one read and then either take a sack or dump it off to Harris. Zero escapability and zero confidence in sitting in the pocket looking down the field. Night and day difference with a different qb at the helm. I can't imagine opposing teams looking forward to playing against us. Now if we can upgrade Nelson and get Wolly involved then look out!

1 - D line... can't single out any of them all were fantastic. 2 - O line... how can you single any of them out either. 3 - Oliviera - The guy found some great holes and made great cuts which completely exhausted the Hamilton D in the 2nd half. HH - Lawler, Demski (first half), Bighill, Collaros for being handsome

Also ZC had a good first half... 2nd half it looked like he was trying to hard. It was beautiful to finally have a QB who can evade and who also can go through more then only 1 read. Complete opposite of Nichols and it showed with him making those beautiful TD throws. I was so used to Nichols only making his single read for the last few seasons that it was nice to see a guy at QB who isn't playing afraid and willing to take shots. Buck also called a nice game and I'm glad he did not abandon the run after the first quarter. We could of won by a larger margin had a few small mistakes were not made. Hamilton looked completely flat on defense... I didn't think Masoli was that bad but he was rattled big time in the 2nd half. Also F Lawrence for that illegal block... I wish someone would take his legs out....

Can the media around the country finally gives us some damn respect? Our D from top to bottom dominated and our O-line was as magnicent as they were in the last season. With Collaros now at QB we are only better. What a great game!

I almost feel bad for Fajardo because the expectations for a guy who had a good but not great year is completely unreal. Unless the guy puts up MOP like numbers anything else he does would be considered a complete failure based on how high the media is putting the guy up on a pedestal.

Lack of proper management, I'm thinking the staff keep to themselves and do as they please which is also concerning.

What teams does he have left to complete the Kevin Glenn circuit?

In the limited reps he has had here he's shown a good knack for finding holes between players.

Is he worth that much... seems like an over pay to me.

Two players that after getting hurt changed completely in how they played. I see you didn't watch the games that Streveler played in his first season with us and you didn't watch Zach who with the exact same players and with the exact same scheme were able to push the ball down the field. If you get a chance re-watch some old games and see that Nichols played like a scared man and Willy the same. If you need evidence that you are wrong then watch the Grey Cup and see just how wrong you are. Do I need to prove you wrong again and bring up the old post where I showed the sharp decline in stats from Nichols after his second last injury with us? In which pre injury he was getting 250 - 325 yards per game and then post injury he averaged under 200.

You mean Nichols problems, we had no issues once Zach was in at QB with moving the ball down the field to the receivers.

I wouldn't say it is, these receivers had no issues once we moved on from Nichols and had guys who could throw the ball in to an area for these receivers to make plays.

I'm surprised they couldn't do a trade with either of them while retaining some salary... at least get some assets or draft picks?

So what you are saying is that McGuire is unbeaten and has never loss a game in the CFL in the last 3 years unlike Jennings who has lost many games. That's what I got out of this!

I would lower the expectations on a guy who was last good 5 years ago pre injury.... also how did he cross the border and come to Canada 5 months ago?

Someone once posted that Augustine was a bad blocker and everyone else believed it and kept mentioning it despite it being an exaggeration. The guy is physical (look at this physique) and runs hard and from what I saw blocked like a normal person in his position. He showed more then anyone else at that position not named Andrew Harris has in the last 10 years easily.

You are not impressed by Augustines 6+ yards per carry yet you are impressed by Oliviera's zero carries and one big injury? That is a weird take.
