It is not slander if it is the truth? Same thing happened to Khari at the end of his Bomber career... dude could not throw anymore. If we are going to call slander then why is it ok to slander LaPo when HE won us the grey cup as the OC while Nichols won us zero Grey Cups?

Once again.... I think Matt Nichols being unable to throw a ball more then 10 yards was the biggest factor of LaPo's struggles with us. With Collaros LaPo didn't have issues mixing up the play calls and calling more deep shots.

So when are the cuts and does anyone think that any vets will get the axe?

My favorite play from last night was the Rider QB who whiffed on his throw and dropped the ball

I actually thought Suitor wasn't bad at all last night, he wasn't blowing the Rider prospects and called a neutral game. Nielsen on the other hand seemed to force his jokes a few times which was annoying.

The only negatives I saw on Brown was the sacks that he took. Prukop seemed to run first look for pass second and earlier in the game he underthrew a few balls similar to last week. He is LeFevour 2.0 who can run for his life and occasionally make a deep ball.

Good point a few of the Rider guys seemed lost on the field.

Prukop looks and runs and plays like LeFevour... not sure if that is a good or bad thing. He may of saved his bacon with his 4th quarter play but earlier on yeesh looked terrible and it was on him. Brown looked like he was executing the offense in a far more structured manner.

Rumors will have to tread lightly as cancelling comedians is a slippery slope. Nearly every comedian is offensive to one group of people.

Bringing in an American receiver who was mediocre and was cut among the first cuts?? Why?

On the post game show they said that he went home because of the uncertainty of the league playing (he is 30 with a family) and they said that the team expects him back.

It would be nice to see them play, it's easy to think certain guys are awesome because they get a TD or recover a fumble... radio however doesn't show how some guys are way out of position or unsung guys who were wide open but weren't looked at.

How does a guy who was given one last chance at continuing his pro career get himself into this situation within a week of arriving in town. You would think he would be focused on winning a job rather then picking up young women at a bar.

Good riddance, so how long until he signs in Edmonton?

I think for the last 15 years of going on here (and Ourbombers) that every pre season camp SOMEBODY looks fantastic and awesome... only for them to be cut and the folks on here to be shocked that he didn't make it but some no name other person has. I'm assuming Saunders was cut because he's older and the others showed as much (or if not more) and the new guys have a much higher ceiling without a history of injuries.

Rob Brown was super talented but just a lazy and under sized player. Dude scored like 150 points in the AHL.

Brink was mobile (not a burner) and he ran for his life numerous times. But as you had pointed out so many of his throws skipped off the ground before hitting the legs of the receiver.

Winnipeg is a dump and Edmonton is a dump, either way the guy could be classy and talk about how he enjoyed the passion from the fans and not take a shot at the city.
