Doug Flutie, the greatest CFL player ever, was 20-4 in his first 24 starts in Toronto. Kelly is now 20-5. Which CFL qbs in the last 5 years have put up a record like this? Flutie also played during an era where the level of talent in the CFL was significantly lower. If it was all about yards TD's and INT's then I guess Bo Levi Mitchell is the best QB this season despite his mediocre record? Same with MBT? I'd say a guy with a huge winning % and a Grey Cup ring in only two seasons is off to a great start and ON pace for a HOF career. You can't deny it. If he drops off in the next few years then yes at that point he wouldn't be on pace for a HOF career.

Why not? Kelly is on pace for a hall of fame career based on his early success. Warren Moon is revered as a CFL great despite him being an actual sex pest.

I was thinking more along the line that in that area they already have Nuburger, Five Guys, Fatburger, Wayback Burger, George's Burgers, The Burger Factory, Sals, A & W, McDonalds, Burger King, Dairy Queen, and the Wendys on Plessis.

I wonder how they will do, that area is heavily saturated with fast food burger joints.

Manitoba has the 2nd highest rate in Canada for shop lifting, and as I pointed out before the overall crime has skyrocketed. Did you know in much larger provinces such as Quebec that shop lifting has decreased? This isn't happening in "many" places and in Manitoba it is almost at the top for being the worst.

TPB ended in 2018, it was on Netflix for 5 - 6 seasons. It grew a cult following (a 2nd time) from all the new viewers from the States. They even had Snoop for a few episodes which was super funny.

I'm really curious on what they do next season at QB... I wonder if a team would be willing to trade for Rourke? Maybe Ottawa?

I didn't say anyone called him that, I said that they made him out to be like one and one person said how he left town wasn't good. The truth is the guy would have 1 really good game and then 4 games where he would disappear and do nothing. He had 2 mediocre seasons in a row once we had a real QB and recruited talented receivers. It made 100% sense why the team would move on from a guy like that. This is exactly the same as Rasheed Bailey... the guy wasn't consistent enough. Darvin lasted one season after leaving us and then disappeared... Bailey lasted only a few weeks in Toronto and can't even crack the Redblacks roster over the last month. These kind of guys are "over rated" on this board.

Darvin was a decent receiver... not an all time great that people are making him out to be here. Getting rid of him was the right thing to do considering guys like Lawler/Schoen were light years better then him. I remember on here people making the same excuses that they would make with Bailey in saying that he was a great blocker and so valuable to the team. Which translates to "We are too nice to say this guy isn't as good as he used to be and should be replaced".

VAJ has always been hot and cold... BC made the right move in bringing back Rourke and giving him the money. Unfortunately it has not worked out for them... but at the time it made sense.

Harris is a really good QB, if he were playing on our team he would be lighting it up big time. Maier has dropped big time, I can't imagine him starting next season. I'd imagine his next contract/team is a prove it deal where he is a veteran backup.

Barker is useless, both LaPo and Benevides provided a much better coach perspective then he has.

Every time I changed the channel to the game they (Suitor) kept bringing up Milligan being MOP and trying to make it seem like his special team tackles + interceptions was some kind of MOP draw dropping amazing stat/fact. I could see if the guy had a gawdy amount of ints and where teams avoid throwing the ball to him and he was making game breaking plays. But this isn't the case... he reminds me of Houston a few years back where he had a lot of ints but also was burned many times. I'd give Nichols on our team the MOP over Milligan at this point and wouldn't even think twice.

If Crum was so good then why didn't he get a look in the NFL. Where are the headlines of Crum lighting it up in NFL pre season? You are trying to compare Crum saying that he outperformed Strev via stats which you already proved yourself to be wrong with what you posted. If you are fixated on stats then I bring up where are the stats for Crum in the NFL which is significantly more difficult to play against then in the CFL. Strev is significantly better then Crum... Crum should only be compared to the absolute lowest of low QB's in the league.. I'd put him below Dolegala and probably have him only better then Dom Davis at this point.

The sooner they can clinch the better. I'd much rather them having garbage games at the end of the season where they can play Wilson & Dolegala to give them reps to see who will be the #2 QB in the play offs.

Don't lump me in with your confusion on basic math. How about posting the NFL stats between the two of them?

For whatever reason Pierce decided to play Strev like how LaPo did in Strev's 2nd season. It was extremely frustrating to see them get "cute" and not let the guy just run normal plays. In his first season he had zero issues dropping back and tossing mid range/bombs down the field with no trickery. Also the non stop using him as a bull dozer broke him down the last time and once again did the same this season. Let the guy roll out and throw on the move... don't try to make him the next Mike Sellers. It was very very unfortunate how they used him this season and I hope he gets another shot in the league where a team will just let him play as a mobile QB and not a trick play specialist.

Outperformed him in almost every category? Strev beats him in Wins, TD/INT ratio, TDs, Rushing yards, Rushing TD's.... Crum beats him in completion % , and yards per pass and rushing y/a .... Also how many GC rings does Crum have?

He's done great on short yardage... but what huge upside has he shown as a passer? He's had what, two passing plays and made a high percentage safe completion on one and the other he held onto the ball for a few seconds extra and ended up being sacked.

This 100%... with Wilson they are just letting the O-line push people back and keeping it simple. I wish they had done the same with Strev on the short yardage and elsewhere.
