People have been far to nice about Nichols for the last 3 years.... the guy was done back then but since he's a warrior and a nice guy people found it hard to say the guy is completely shot and has nothing else to offer. It's been painfully obvious that the guy was done in 2019.

Didn't Tim Burke also have Elliott or someone else kneel in the 4th quarter with a minute remaining because he didn't have faith that we could move down the field and take one last crack at a score which then lead to an OT loss?

In Strev's first season he seemed to have had normal plays called for him and would take off whenever he saw an opening. In season 2 it seemed like he looked to run first and passed second. I'm not sure if it was the play design or the QB's decision. In season one he definitely sat back and tossed many more darts across the field. It was very noticeable since whenever he was in the game the offense came alive and suddenly receivers were seeing balls being thrown there way.

If this is true then he should be suspended for the year minimum....

The guy had almost 1000 yards receiving in his last season, I'm perfectly fine with giving the guy a chance with us. The guy had good hands and maybe he can offer a reliable mid range attack for the Zach to use.

I don't watch the show? Is it Spicy Chicken Nuggets? If so then meh............

Time for a few changes on the team ... need better execution on a few of the players. Not a major overhaul or anything but Duke Williams + new kick returner to start and maybe time to groom a new DC...

If they don't then they get a 1st rounder and a 3rd round pick back and the Canes are on the hook for the 6 million? Maybe I'm misunderstanding this but giving up a 1st round bust player for a 1st rounder back sounds like a good deal for Montreal to me??

The thing was that he did have protection, BC didn't bring much heat on Nichols at all. Nichols seemed to have thrown better then his previous starts, but yikes they have absolutely zero deep ball threat what so ever.

Ottawa likes to shoot themselves in the foot... earlier in the game they had two drives killed by terrible drops from the receivers. The one time Nichols goes somewhat deep and Harris drops an easy one. Later on Nichols looks absolutely foolish on the sack which killed the drive and the interception either slipped his hand or the arm strength just plain sucks and he throws a lame duck. Also LaPo with the most obvious gameplan. I'm beginning to think that Ottawa may be better off with Jennings throwing bombs in hopes that at least 1/3 of them are completed because Nichols and the rest of company are just so mediocre.

Is Johnny Augustine injured? I thought he showed well last season.
